So I have been getting frustrated with my Davide, Aspire, and Protank 2 lately so I decided to dust off my old carto tanks and vape those again for now and call me crazy but I gotta tell ya I just love the performance of my carto tanks better I think. I use the IBtanks and the Boge F-16 tanks with either the Smok lo res pre punched single coils or the Boges (same specs) but I like the Boge cartos better. So I went over to Vapelite to order some more Boge cartos and saw this BOGE F16v2 GLASS TANK CARTOMIZER 4ML SILVER - $9.99 : VapeLite your source for Boge quality electronic cigarettes, Boge electronic cigarettes Not sure how long its been out since I havent been on Vapelites site in a while but its a Boge F-16 V2 Glass tank! I dont really care for the fancy decoritive metal sleeve over the tank but it is glass so thats a plus because some juices have cracked my F-16 and F-17 tanks in the past. Was wondering if anyone has tried these??? For 10 bucks you get the 4ml glass tank, drip tip and carto so its a good deal but I'm concerned about the end caps. I dought they are stainless like the IBtank caps. The rubber rings in the caps in the regular F-16,17 tanks go bad rendering the tank useless after a few months (probably why they are so inexpensive to begin with) and you cant buy replacement caps or O rings so just wanted to see if anyone used these and hear what you think. I dont mind throwing out a 5 dollar plastic tank after 6 months because the caps went bad but I'd hate to throw out a glass tank for the same reason. Buying another IBtank can solve all this lol which I probably will do but like I said for 10 bucks this isnt a bad deal as long as this thing lasts.

my go to setups are 8 mil J - tanks with smoktech 2 or 2.5 ohm carto's. just put a 8 mil on 2.5 on my SVD @ 8 watts and was blown away at the flavor, compared to a fresh battery on one of my mechanicals. just ordered another 8 and a 5 mil from electronicstix.com and 3- 5 packs of BOGE 2.0 ohm cartos to give them a try. love the black end caps with a black carto and tip for a solid brass mod. they DO have replaceable o-rings for the end caps as well as the inner o-rings...

It's not a bad tank for the money. It's a big improvement over the old F16 tanks if only for the glass. The build quality is decent (again, given the price) but it won't compare with an IBT (or a VVV -- miss you Ray!!).

The caps might be stainless -- I really can't tell for sure. The caps are permanently attached to the body, as is the outer aluminum "cage." That can be a plus for some people, since you'll never need to worry about a cap falling off. On the downside, cleaning is a pain in the .... since you can't take the caps off.

It has a cutout on the bottom that fits both flanged Boge and Smok cartos. Can also be used with unflanged cartos. The O-rings holding the carto seem to be of good quality.

Comes with an F16 carto and a decent, if not all that attractive aluminum drip tip.

I've had mine for about 2 months or so. Picked it up on a lark from Surevapes when buying some cartos. I like the look of the metal grill (black to match my black SB) and think it's worth the $10 paid, but I wouldn't get another one nor would I rank it to be as good as a premium tank, such as an IBT.

I have tried numerous types of tanks and IMO nothing compares to IBtanked. I think with them the seal is so good that it feeds the cartomizer better. My cartos seem to taste better and last a lot longer in the IBtank ones. But for ten bucks that wouldn't be bad for going out or something.

Yeah not sure how I feel about the permanently set in end caps that's kinda weird but could be a good thing too.

Phiniac are as good and possibly better than IBTanked. My Phiniac glass tank is over a year old and still on the original seals and have never leaked.

I am looking to get my feet wet with cartos for the first time without spending much money so this tank may be a good option for me just to try them out and see if I like them. Which cartos would work with this tank? I would want to get more than the 1 that comes with it because with my luck I'd burn it up trying to prime it my first time. I'd like something around 2 ohms. I would LOVE an IBTanked but don't have the spare cash at the moment to get one and would like to be able to just TRY out a carto tank without too much invested. What do you guys think? Sorry OP not trying to take over your thread or anything. Thanks for sharing the link!

A really good cartotank on a budget is this one:

Smoktech Pyrex Glass DCT 6ml Tank | eBay

I started out with these and still have them in my rotation along with my IBTanked's. In fact, I'm vaping on one right now. The o-rings are nice and tight, no leaks. The caps are sealed so once the o-rings go they're trash but for $10-$12 bucks each they're a great way to start out. The 6ml holds a ton of juice but they also make a 3.5ml. I have both and after a few months of vaping on them I have zero complaints.
