thanks!! stupid question but what does the wattage do lol

no stupid questions we all had to learn somewhere. varible wattage from the little i know is like auto pilot, as resistance of your coil fluctuates over time varible wattage will auto adjust to make sure your getting the same consitancy of vape. with varible voltage you have to adjust manually as resisitance of your coil goes up.

Main difference between vtr and mvp 2 are the vtr has a removable battery and a higher amp limit. The downside is the vtr is bigger and much heavier. I just got an mvp 2 as a back up and to see how it was, as it has gotten such good reviews. I love it, granted i never take it off 11 watts, which is its limit. I would not recommend the vtr, even tho i never owned one. I feel the price is way to steep for what it is. At that price point i rather put up an extra 20 and find a used provari or something similar.

moving up from egos and ive been researching the best type of mod to get for my price range(50-75$) i want a vv box mod i like the look of them lol and looking for something thats ego threaded as i have alot of ego tanks i haven't found a whole lot any suggestions? :vapor::vapor:

If you're decided on a box mod, then I'd suggest a VTR.

I wouldn't go for an mvp because you're already upgrading from ego batteries; time to get something with replaceable batteries.

Another option is the e-lvt.

uses 18650 battery and
features onboard charging.

is the evlt also vv/vw?

yes. it is vv/vw.

It's like somebody decided to make something similar to the popular mvp2, but with a replaceable battery.

basically costs more than the mvp2 but less than the vtr.

plus its got that durable looking outer case - I'm not sure if its just plastic but it could be rubber.

If you are looking to use ego threaded toppers, the MVP has that. The VTR is 510 threaded and would require an ego to 510 adapter. With the VTR you would also need to buy batteries and a battery charger.

So, I think at this point, the MVP is your best choice.

Oh! Good point!
The VTR base interface is 510 thread;
it comes with an extender tube which has the eGo thread on the top.

I use an MVP V2 (V1 prior to this) at work and luv it, great battery life and no issues driving my Kayfun's at 1.3 ohms :)

The only draw back to the e-lvt is the rubbery outer coating IMO kinda not as pocket friendly, have a guy at work with one...

The VTR is big 'n heavy (I have one) only plus is you can swap batteries if need be...

MVP2 meets all the requirements you have, it is a solid and dependable device, and relatively inexpensive. Good piece of gear.

That said, I got one of those Cloupor Hana Clones...it is killer. Slightly larger than the MVP2, goes up to 30 watts, and will fire coils down to 0.3 ohm. Replaceable 18650 battery. Costs about twice the MVP2 and only has 510 thread.
