Liquids in bottles and that can be sealed tight, you can also add the bottles into a tupperware container plastic bag in case of leaking, believe, not certain, but no larger than 30ml each on the bottles. Mods, batteries removed from the device if they are removable, tanks you might want to have them empty in case of leaking due to air pressure changes. Batteries - stored in proper carrying cases, "Have to be in your carry on luggage", not check in luggage. Those are the ones I do know.

Im traveling from NY to FLA. I am taking with me a evic vtc mini and one 18650 a spare coil and a 30 ml of eliquid. I have traveled before but not with external batteries. Do i leAve batery in mod? Where is the best plce to hide mod when not bringing a laptop? It is going in my checked luggage.

I would Definitely call your Airline and Double Check things. And under No Circumstances would I leave a Battery in a Mod.

E-cigarettes permanently banned from airline luggage

Oh good lord no. Pretty sure they have to be in a hard plastic case that prevents them from making contact with other "shiny" things. They're not messing around with Lithium Ion batteries. If you don't have battery cases, you should. It's something that you should always have on hand.

I would NOT put it in checked luggage. Battery is against TSA rules for starters...

I recommend:
1 - remove battery. put it in anything non-conductive. A battery box is nice, or any little pouch...
2 - juice, I'd squeeze a little air out of the bottle, close it TIGHT, and still put it in at least one ziplock, maybe 2, and maybe wrap the neck with papertowel in case of seep
3 - All of this in carry-on
I put my CHARGER in checked luggage - nothing else...
And I've flown like this about 50 times without an issue.

I just flew to Prtland last week. They want you to put any batteries in your carry-on. That way, if there is an issue, it can be addressed by you or a crew member. Put all liquids in your checked bag.

I actually had my kayfun & battery in my carry-on, and the switch got stuck on or kept firing. I couldn't figure out what was smelling so bad. Opened my bag up while I was in line to board the plane, and plumes of vapor came out. No one even batted an eye.

If you do carry your atomozier in your carry-oon, I strongly suggest that you remove it from the battery.....

Safe travels!

Most sports stores along with Walmart carry a plastic container for water proof matches that makes a perfect case for 18650

Free safety the battery out of this far out of Harm's Way as possible and maybe there are two ways to do it

When I fly, not very often, extra mods may have a battery installed but the atomizer is removed. Loose batteries are always in silicone sleeves. Liquids and wet atomizers go in zip lock bags. If a mod is in your bag make sure there is no atomzer attached and why not give it 5 clicks to disable the fire button.

If you're leaving tomorrow there is no time to get anything mentioned. Grab multiple (100% plastic) ziplock bags, indivdually wrap every battery in it's own ziplock then put all of them in a bigger ziplock.

Do I recommend this practice? No... But you leave tomorrow that leaves you with very little option.

Was just talking about this with wife tonight for a trip coming up first week of August, trying to prepare well ahead of time. Airline just said it must be in carry on only, not much else. But a couple questions:

Am I right that it must be in carry on and not on person?

Are cases that hold two 18650's OK or individual cases only?

And yes, I will be contacting the airline well before flight time.

Just Me. But I would use Individual Cases.

I don't think it would be all that much Safer to do so. But it would have the Appearance of being Safer.

I went through security at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago the other day. Because they had security dogs patrolling the lines, I didn’t have to take off my shoes or take my laptop, XBOX, plastic bag with eliquid, or anything out of my carry on. I had my Provari Mini in a case (without a battery) inside my backpack and in the side pockets I had two GP Spheroids, a Sophia v2 in a Loki Tank (empty), a GP Paps (without a battery), and six 18350 batteries – all in individual round hard plastic containers.

A TSA agent pulled my bag aside and asked if I knew why they wanted to look at it. I guessed that it was because it contained all kinds of goodies (thinking electronics and vaping gear). He went through the bag’s side pockets and took out the plastic cases and said that they looked like shot gun shells on the x-ray machine. I smiled and said that they were lithium ion batteries and that it was safest to keep them in hard plastic containers. He asked why and I told him that you wouldn’t want them coming into contact with other objects and possibly shorting. He said that he was surprised and glad that I knew that. He asked about my Paps and I said that it’s meant to hold a battery just like a flashlight and I encouraged him to unscrew the top to take a look to see there was nothing in it, which he did. We were both friendly and he got the idea, seemed satisfied, and put everything back and let me go on my way. When we got to our gate I put a battery in my Provari and attached an atomizer and had a nice stealth vape in a bathroom stall before boarding my flight.
