I live in Norway, where e-cigarettes can be sold but not the liquid (if it contains nicotine). I know that e-liquids can be imported from other EEA countries, but the postal tax can be pretty steep. I'm going to the US soon and was hoping to bring as much back with me as possible (my mom lives there, so I can just ship it to her), but can't find anything that says whether or not this is ok. So, has anyone taken e-liquids over international borders (especially from the US to somewhere in Europe)?

Im also from Norway, and I use ecigs. I could help you with this, but not able to send pm yet. Dont have any posts. Anyway, I've been ordering from both China and US and it works fine so far. We should order from european contries, as that is the rule. Private import. - the thing is that I found only Totally wicked - they dont have the kr808d-1 (and thats what I want) and also they have their totally wicked symbol on everything - and as a grown up I really dont feel right smoking something with a devils head on it :) So -thats why I dont use totally wicked - to childish for my taste.

I believe that taking it trough costums on a trip, would be about the same as buying cigarettes - wont get much in to Norway really. But - this I dont know, Its just my assumption.

Kr808d-1 is what I've ordered, it's what my mom uses and she's pretty happy with it. I found one place in the UK that sells replacement parts, but haven't really looked into their liquids yet.

Do you think customs will be any different since I'll technically be flying in from Germany which is EU? But then maybe I'll have trouble with customs in Germany..

Pm me when you're able :)

I travel to the EU often and bring about 80mls of juice in my carry on bag when I travel. I have not been through Customs in Norway but have been through in Finland, Netherlands, Belgium, France, UK & Germany. I have NEVER been asked about liquid and only once asked "what is that" concerning an eGo battery when baording for the US in the Netherlands.

I ordered the kr808d-1 from a US site (house of vapor) and had it sent to my mom, since I know there's not a problem bringing the actual e-cig into Norway. I actually ordered 3 of them, because a couple of my friends wanted them as well. I found a site called liberty-flights.co.uk that sells the replacement parts, there are probably others too. I agree that the Norwegian sites are useless, I had the same problem as you, trying to figure out what exactly they were selling.

Thanks, that's really helpful :) I guess I'll just try it, the worst that can happen is that it will be confiscated. I've only been checked by customs once when returning from the US, and I think that's because I didn't have any checked luggage that time.

If it is that difficult to get stuff in Norway you may want to thing about ordering a bottle of 100mg/ml nic and do the whole DIY thing. I know I save tons of money by making my own juice. Read the DIY section of the forum for many tips and ideas on how to make your own juice. If you can make a mixed drink you can make juice. Just a thought since a bottle of nic will go much farther than bottles of premade juice. I am certain you can get PG and VG in Norway and flavors are sold from a few Supplier within the EU. Best of luck and happy vapes

The thing is that Norway has VERY stright rules when it comes to import of things like alcohol, nicotine, even foods actually. We are able to bring in one bottle of whine, one wodca and one carton of zigarettes :) not very much. England and other european contries are a LOT more liberal than Norway. :) But I belive I can send a pm now, so I will tell her what Ive done :)
