You're not crazy. I did a experiement with this tobacco juice I make. I use glass bottles and I made up a 15 ml bottle of it. I have not touched it and noone else has either. After just a couple of weeks of sitting it is only half full now. No leaks ..So it can happen.

That is why I don't make my juice in bulk anymore. Just what I need for a week or 2.

Whaaaa?
Something is wrong if half of your bottle is evaporating in 2 weeks. I've left out 30ml glass bottles both capped and uncapped but never noticed any evaporation, even after several weeks. Maybe if you are using a lot of flavoring that contains alcohol or there is a high percentage of water, but otherwise methinks you have a closet nipper.

My tank is only 1.5 ml but it usually last me the entire day. I do tend to chain vape a lot too. lol. I use an Itaste vv with a Kanger Aerotank Mini with kanger stock duel coils. Though I have had some days where I went through mine quicker then I thought I would. My last coil actually went bad not because of the coil itself but because I didn't realize I was out of juice. Normally i do. This time not so much. Burnt wick don't taste so good. lol. My coils tend to last me at least a week though and I do save them back after use. That way if I ever decide to learn to recoil and rewick, I can just use these. If I can get them apart without breaking them that is. lol.

I swear my ejuice evaporates. Lol I am not kidding. My husband doesn't go through near as much as i do. I don't feel I vape enough to go through 30 ml in 4 to 5 days. He picks up ejuice for me 1 -2 times a week. Going to have to buy in bulk or finally learn how to make my own.

When Groucho Marx was hosting a TV quiz show a lady contestant told him she had a vast brood of children, and explained that she loved her husband. Groucho's infamous reply was 'I love my cigar, but I take it out once in a while.' The Marxist lesson here is that if you think you're vaping too much then put your device down and only pick it up when you need it.

I leave a bunch of clearos full of juice out in the open and they don't seem to evaporate unless I vape them. I sometimes mix juices to get an in-between nic concentration and the pot I use to mix still has some leftover juice on the bottom over a week later (yea, I'm too lazy to rinse them right away). I've even forgotten a 30mL bottle open for 5 days and it wasn't missing a drop! I have tons of juices I bought back in early summer and they don't seem to go fast enough (got tired of those flavors).

Something else is going on... sleep vaping much?

I don't think your e-juice is evaporating that quickly. A lot of juice makers recommend steeping juices where you leave them uncapped up to a few weeks at a time. This bottle is a year old and I don't think it's evaporated at all. I don't much like the flavor and it's just been sitting out in my room on a cabinet. The consistency has changed as it is much thinner than what it came from the store. It's not a super tight sealing lid; it rattles if you shake it just like any other safety cap. I should probably throw it away lol. I just can't imagine that much is evaporating from your bottles. Do you and the husband use the same device? Different set ups will use different amounts of juice. For example if I vape an aspire et-s at 12.8w 30ml will last 2-3 weeks. My iClear 30s would use that in week on an mvp at 11 watts. My rebuildables and atlantis at 30-80w can vape 30ml from a few hours to 2 days depending just how hard I push it. I rarely use it up in a few hours at that pace vaping becomes very expensive.

I'm about 5ml/day on stock clearos, 10ml/day on "mild" rebuilds, and have killed 10ml bottles in a night on "hot" drippers.

One of my problems is vaping out of boredom, not nicotine needs. So I keep a mild-to-warm dripper handy, and a bottle of straight VG. That way I can sit at my computer or in my chair surfing/reading/sewing/etc, and have something to suck clouds from. After about an hour, I feel like I need something more, and I'll have a little session with my "loaded" vape-o-the-day.

This lets me be a real mizer with my juices, as a whole bottle of VG is $2.35 at walmart, and can cut my e-liquid consumption down to a few ml/day.

(Warning: vaping straight VG from a dripper may form an addiction to cloud chasing, which can get WAY more expensive than vaping a few extra ml each day):vapor:

yeah that's about right...I can go from if I"m busy and don't get to chain vape as much 5ml or 10ml ..in a day.

I also got into making my own (not DIY again but combining premade juices from an online source that's $20 for 102ml ish from Vista Vapors) and ordering ones from ITC they're less expensive too.
Vaping Rabbit's like $18 for 30 ml

I still have a Mother's Milk is the most expensive I get and the occassional Five Pawns maybe once every other month or so.

but it sounds about right.:vapor:

there's two much?:p

These days now that I use drippers, I just mix glycerin and 10% water and that's my main vape; occassionally I add a drop or few from a $purchased$ bottle of eliquid to my dripper, and that's really all I need to use.

I think some people don't realize that DIY can be quite "easy".......you don't have to become a mixmaster and have a lab set up. :)

I often DIY with just a little ethol maltol and a drop or 2 of fruit flavoring into my pg/vg mix, or use my high vg nic solution "almost plain", with a tiny bit of spearmint or peppermint. Not everyone mixes up 8 flavor dessert vapes, nor requires them, so I'm glad you mentioned this, I hope it helps some newbies save $$ and not thing DIYing has to be a "big deal production" if you don't want it to. :)

the VTR comes with an I-clear30 tank and because of the way they wick them they use ungodly amounts of juice. I would suggest looking into a bottom coil tank system like a nautilus or a Kanger-tank system they are cheaper to maintain and the juice consumption isn't nearly as much.I'm not knocking what you are using because my SVD came with the same tank it works but the coils are expensive and it really uses more juice than the Protank2 that I have now. I actually rebuild my Kanger-coils myself and find they perform even better than stock. I'm a heavy vaper and I might go thru 20 ML a week using my protank2 and that is running it at 15 watts constantly. Now if I'm using my mech-mod with my tobh atty I can run through 20ml every 2 days. Vaping habits all differ and for instance I have found that with a 50/50 PG/VG I use more juice but at higher VG levels I go through less don't know why but I vape 20/80 VG @ 20 ml a week = 7 days using the protank maybe give one a try and see if that doesn't help out with your juice consumption. Best of luck to you

What's your setup and what nic strength do you vape?

If you vape low strength you can buy high strength and dilute it with a 50/50 PG/VG mix of your own; that's the quick and easy DIY way.

This is what I do - I cut my Johnson creek 1.8% by adding 10ml pg to a 30 ml bottle. Helps to have an extra bottle of course.
