Well... because of that stupid FDA "study" ANVISA (the equivalent to the FDA) banned e-cigs in Brasil
I am not completely sure of the legislation, but the propaganda is absolutely absurd - to a point to advertise that it is illegal here too, and all due to the FDA findings. It also says that e-cigs are as bad or worst than cigarettes for one's health, and that there is absolutely no studies showing that it helps in anyway smokers to kick the habit.
I am FURIOUS.
I know sales are banned, importing is banned, but I am not sure of what the implications of using it are. I am not sure either if I risk having my e-cig taking away from me if my luggage gets inspected (never did, but you know how Murphy's law goes...)
SO frustrating - why instead of vaping my TWO darn chemicals now I might be forced to smoke thousands? UURRRGHHH!

), is that the chances of having my kit taken away from me is very slim as most of people in Brazil, including in customs do not know about e-cigarettes - even if you tell them. But to pack discretely (unmarked bottles for example).
