Got the reo, brass button cover.
I need 6ml bottles, probably 5 more, I have 2 tubes, and obviously will have 2 reo's, so maybe 2 more?
also need the bottle covers, do those come with the bottles?
then probably a spring just incase?
and then how do you clean these things? With the nolax vile he sells?
Think of anything else I need?

Bought my first reo a few weeks ago, standard grand so I have to use an adaptor which is fine, performs great but looks eh, kawasaki green in color. Topped with a derringer, going to either order another one of them or a Freakshow mini, or something else I'm not sure.

Rob includes an extra bottle (not counting the one already installed in the Reo), cap, and a reducer (I think?) tube, as well as a small vile of noalox, which is used on the contacts, alternatively you can use Deoxit Gold, but either will work I'd imagine. I would definitely get a spring or two, even if your an experienced rebuilder, accidents can happen lol. As far as cleaning, I haven't really needed to clean mine yet, but I believe people just rinse it under hot water and scrub with a tooth brush, then just let it dry. If you swap out flavors often, then having a few extra bottles would probably be a good thing as well.

Make sure you are getting a LP REO Grand. Then you will be set with the larger RBA's.

Bottles, well if you plan on keeping some filled you might need more than the two you will get. Extras do come with caps and the dripper tip.

A spring for sure.

Other extras, I would say a o-ring.

Magnets usually not needed, but like was said they are a nice thing to have.

better to tape up 510 and chuck it on the belt sander or file it down to LP

although i'm unsure if the adapters as so bad with the new 510s

My thought is, even with the new 510, it's one more "link in the chain" that can go sideways. Better to avoid adapters altogether if possible.

Just kidding. Congrats on your next reo. Can't wait to see it.

Come see us in the reo lounge. Lots of wonderful people there for sure. (and crazy ones like me)

When the very first REOs were made they came with 510 adapter because the native connector was a 901. 510s became the industries standard as did the REO. Since, Rob has mentioned not to use any adapter on the REO. My personal experience when the one time I did not listen and used an adapter on a REO caused the only EVER collapsed Woodvil spring.

I'd get a small diameter RDA like a cyclone for the standard grand so you can ditch the adapter and order a LP grand to use the derringer on. If the draw is too tight you could always take a 1/16 or 5/64 bit and open up the air hole size a little more for lung hits.

Also, instead of extra tubes and bottles. I'd just grab a few more bottles and order a rebuild kit just for insurance between the two mods. I don't use o-rings, and have never experienced any leaks. Some people use them others don't, it's really up to you to decide. The new mods come with the small vile of noalox and it'll last atleast a couple of months before you'll need to order more. I'd stock up on some wire spools and get some AW batteries if you don't have any already.
