I cannot believe the difference a Reo Grand makes when it comes to vaping. The Reo Grand and Reomizer 2.0 are much smaller than I expected. But it fits perfectly in my hand. Although the Reomizer is small, it packs better flavor and taste than anything I've ever used (Kanger T2's, Protanks, AGA-T2, RSST, and ect). (yes, I know this RM2 is for the regular Grand. Have already spoken to Rob about it. He's taking care of it.) I'm already familiar with tips involving "Squonking", and found it to be easier to do than I anticipated. (did the angle cut. Not the inverted V cut)
Taking the drip tip off to get familiar with Squonking really does help. Love how the juice saturates the coil, and then goes back into the bottle. This is the primary feature involving Reo Grand, and why it's so much better.

Build::
Kanthal 30g; 5/16 drill bit; 7 wraps for 1.8 ohms with Koh Gen Do cotton. Flavor and taste is outstanding!!! I could probably stay with this setup and be quite happy; but however, I'll be experimenting with 28g & 29g Kanthal and lower ohms to find the best performance.

I need to add a coating to this beautiful darling before she starts turning a darker color. This is what I found in the storage from about 2 years ago. I barely used any of it. Will shake it for a long time, and make sure it's room temp before using it.

Quesion is:: Will this Krylon seal the Copper Vein RG good??

Looks great bro. Congrats.

One observation (not that it looks bad on your mod) but it looks like you have a standard RM2. If you got the one for LP mods, there wouldn't be that thinner section at the base - the base would all be the same thickness all the way down - where it mates up with the top of the shallow well.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I'll just put the Fuse 2 thing on hold.

Batteries:
Do I get the AW Protected or Unprotected?

No need for the Protected Batteries, never used them. Most protected batteries just increase the length and size of battery that messes up the spring which is the only protection you'll need. :vapor:

Can't comment of the Krylon but thought I'd mention not to forget about spraying the back of the door too.

Side note: Last year I finally painted the master bedroom. I had put off the job for a long time. I did a great job on the painting and decided to use some caulk above the baseboards where they meet the wall. You know, to give it that great professional look. Well, I found some unopened caulk in my garage that must have been five years old. Dummy me uses that caulk to save a little bit of money. Wrong move, the caulk just took forever to dry (not even sure it is dry yet) and just doesn't look as good as if I had used fresh caulk. Great job turned into a so so job. Just saying I probably would go out and get a fresh can of Krylon. It's your REO for goodness sake and will be in your hand everyday for most of the day. :2c:

Oh, I guess I could comment on the Krylon.

Many people here suggest the aw unprotected (but safe chemistry) 1600mah. They last a bit less than the 2000mah, but they give a better voltage during discharge at current > 2A. It depends on your style of vaping (how many watts are you used to). Another good choice are the sony vtc5 30A or the efest purple 35A, if you plan to go sub-ohm. I would leave aside the protected batteries, they are not high drain.

Nice OP!! I placed my first order Friday, for almost the exact same order as yours, OP, minus a few extra parts that I probably should've thrown in... and I got the RM4...
Im patiently awaiting the mailman to drop mine off!!! He is probably gonna be here any minute!!! I picked up some Rustoleum Clear "satin" coat, and I'm gonna coat this beast as soon as it gets here!! I probably wouldn't mind it aging...but then again, I definitely wouldn't mind keeping it looking new! :)

:toast:

btw, I went with the Purple Efest 35A 2500mah button tops from 101vape, which are a new product for them... :)
here's a link, they are sorta hard to find on their website: Efest 35AMP IMR18650- 2500mah- Button Top - 101 Vape

I haven't checked into the below linked thread in a bit, but last I read it was troubling indeed. You guys using the purple 35A Efests need to ditch them pronto.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...87759-purple-efest-18650-battery-warning.html

For you guys thinking about using/buying those new purple Efest 35A 2500mAh batteries, I'd stay clear. Matter of fact, I'd just stay clear of Efest all together. Even if it were pure speculation (which it appears to be anything but), it's enough for me to say "F that" and just go with sure bet AWs or VTC5s.

Cheers

I got 3 of these, and will be charging them with the NiteCore Intellicharger i2. Any thoughts?

AW IMR 18650 3.7v 1600mAh - RTD vapor

Those are the recommended batteries and I've had nothing but good experiences with them. Great vape, dependable, and last most of a very long day. Mark them so you can rotate them evenly, and they'll last a LONG time (assuming of course, that you don't discharge them below 3.5ish volts and don't overcharge, drop in water, leave in car, etc.)
