Going to try some Cartomizers, what do I need?

You'll want to get an adapter that says its for a 510 battery to KR808D-1 cartomizer. The V4L cartos are that style. Do you know they also make 510 thread cartomizers, although V4L doesn't carry those?
yea, if you go somewhere besides that site.. (like nhaler) you can get cartomizers that just screw into the 510.
Get the blank ones with the rubber boots, and use the "condom method" to fill them up with your prefered juice.

Eastmall has the 510 cartomizer blank 5pack for $4, @ .80¢ apiece you can't beat it.
Nhaler has the blank 510 cartos and I just got some from last week, they are great.
I am a dripper, but I am using these cartos a lot now and loving it.
Great service from Drew and the crew at Nhaler and no need for an adapter.

IMO, blanks are better since there is more variety in e-juice by the bottle. The 510 cartos are a tight fit on an eGo because of the sticker wrapper, but they do fit and work very well. I'm talking a good hour of vaping heavily. I'm able to squeeze 35 drops in mine by spinning them.

Just my opinion but not very much luck with pre-filled carts, or the 808's. You may save lots of bucks getting the preferred 510 blanks and place your own juice using the condom and spin method.
Blanks tend to last longer, have your own juice in them, and the 510's I've tried were all good. The blanks will easily fit the Ego if you remove the paper and get down to the silver underneath. I have a nice way of marking these silver ones, but that's another thread.

I just got my blank cartos today............so far I love them. The condom filling worked on some of my juice and some it didn't. One of the flavors I loaeded, I just put the bottle of juice on the hole on the atty side and squeezed and it filled the thing up. I plan to put them to work tonight and see how they do.
Check out the Vapor4Life forum. On the first page (or 2nd or 3rd) there is a thread with a video posted showing condom refill and the spin. Probably it'll be self explanatory once you watch it.
I'll try to describe it. Take a baggie. Put the cart in it with the .... plug plastic cap on it battery threads down against the bottom of the baggie mouthpiece up pointed towards the opening. Roll/fold the baggie so that the cart is wrapped in the baggie. Spin it around in the air for 5 or 10 seconds. The centrifugal farce will pack the liquid at the battery thread end allowing you to put a bit more liquid into the cart. There are other ways to do it but a baggie or small plastic bag are items the typical person has around.

It varies. For KR8 cartos, V4L has the best flavors but not all of them. It's subjective but I like the caramel mocha frap., cognac, french pipe, cuban cigar (although the vapor is thin, the flavor is good). I don't care for any of their menthols and I was a 30 year menthol smoker.
If you go with 510 cartos - Nhaler has a good selection with some good flavors - he's adding new ones daily it seems.
That said - blanks are best and get a 510 blank so you don't have to go through the adapter - get a short drip tip from nhaler and put in it what you want.
