So I've been using V2's and 808D's with an adapter for the past week. They're both excellent performers for me, and they each have their strengths. I don't know about the longevity of them after only a week, but then again, that's been covered in other threads.

I've only been vaping for a month, and in that month I have used Boge standards, CE2 XL's, Clearomizer XL's, and the generic cartos that came with my starter kit. These are all I used during my first 3 weeks of vaping, until I discovered the V2's and 808D's.

My goto juice is 60/40 vg/pg - Blackberry Lemonade from ivape.net - It's incredible! I've been trying DiY - see my avatar for my results so far...

Here is a recap of my experience with these cartomizers:

Gold V2 Drip Tips:
I vape these at 4.4v These things let my juice flavor through. *Really*. An order of magnitude more than any of the cartomizers listed above. Throat hit is directly related to the amount of power I crank through it, but never enough to choke me. Really good vapor production -- again more than any of the others listed above. They also have never tasted burned or harsh to me. When they start to go dry, I get less vapor and less taste. When I'm power vaping (most of the time), they usually last me ~ 1.5-2 hours before a top off is necessary - about 10 drops. I keep 3 of 'em topped off at all times. They wick my juice really, really well. I never need to spin them, although I have shaken them a couple of times to be sure that they're really full.

So far, these are my absolute favorite, just for the taste alone.

808D Mega's:
I vape these at 4.6v. I hit my first one at 4.8v, and the throat hit was tremendous - way too much for me. These hold about 1.8ml of juice. I fill 'em with a syringe because I don't have the patience to drip that long. Vapor production... Well, I reserve these for outdoor use for that very reason. They produce so much vapor that I can't see what's in front of me for a few seconds. Seriously, I won't drive with one of these. They do let my juice flavor through, but I find that if I've dialed the power up to the point I can really enjoy the flavor, the throat hit is too much for me. What I really like about them is that I can power vape for about 5 hours with one of these before I have to top it off.

So, I'll be using both of these exclusively until something else that's better comes along.

I just wish that the 808 megas had the flavor of the V2's. Or that the V2's had the capacity of the 808 megas.

Customers are just never happy, are they Isaac?
