Thats a fine looking coil, but as Ben said the sheer quantity of metal it contains has some undesirable qualities.
The ramp up and particularly down times must be very long indeed, Think of an old school electric hob. You can overcome the ramp up with lots of power but you cannot stop the heat retained in the coil from cooking your wicks and
juice for several seconds after you power off.
Very thick wire like 22G is intrinsically inefficient.
If you have two lengths of wire with one twice the thickness of the other, the thicker wire will have
twice the surface area but
four times the mass. Once you understand this it's easy to see that
coils made from lots of wraps of thin wire will be exponentially more efficient.
This means less power but same vapor production, or the same power and more vapor production.
Remember that a regulated device theres no need to use low resistance coils like there is with an unregulated device.
