Gonna give this another try

Hello all,

I started vaping about a year and a half ago, at first everything was great I had all but quit smoking!! Then i'm not sure what happened it seemed like the tables turned I started smoking more and vaping less until I was totally back on analogs. Now I actually was vaping exclusively for around six months. This morning I've decided to give vaping another shot over smoking analogs. Anyone have any words of advise??

A standard eGo provides limited power, no matter what atomizer/cartomizer you're using. I'd suggest trying something with a little more kick to it. I've read on here about some kind of boost circuit for it that will bump up the voltage and give you more kick. That might be an inexpensive way to try higher power vaping. If you like it and it gives you more satisfaction, you can look at PVs that will provide the same.

Personally I'd probably be in your shoes if I hadn't gone with a variable voltage setup. Trying to figure out which cartomizers to use with my battery setup was frustrating, and I thought several times that it wasn't worth the hassle. Having the ability to turn things up or down without switching hardware was my nirvana, and I haven't looked back.

Depends how much you can fit into your budget .
Ego is a good starter in my opinion with a few 1000mah battery's in a rotation and a low res atomizer.
That setup got me off the cigs last May and since i have moved onto a mod .
I still have that ego and still go out and about with it at times and my wife still uses it.
Keep it with you always and if your getting nictone urges you may consider a stronger mg e-liquid.
Keep on vaping.

Maybe it is that you are getting tired of flavors and looking to get back to analogs due to that. Maybe expand your flavor base. Also, vaping will not give you the rush/buzz like analogs will but if you can't give that up (if that is what draws you back) then you will have a hard time vaping full time. It reminds me of narcotic addictions in that as tolerance develops the addict will keep taking more and more to get the buzz and they get themselves into trouble chasing that high instead of just being able to settle for being pain free. Never had a ecig buzz yet but don't really need it.

I experimented with other flavors during my past vaping. I consider myself more of a habitual smoker more than anything. I think most of my problem was I could never find a good menthol juice. When I started experimenting trying to find a good juice is basically when I quit vaping. This time I'm gonna try and stick with just the plain menthol juice from Joye that vicki from cignot sells. That's what I started off on and seemed to enjoy the most. I should have everything I need by Tuesday or so, I'm actually kind of excited to give this another try.

I never smoked menthol cigarettes (unless that was all I could bum from someone and I was desperate) but menthol juice really hit the spot for me when I first quit. I found I needed more menthol than I could find anywhere, so I got menthol crystals and added them to pump it up. A half crystal in a 15ml bottle of juice did it for me.

My advise it cut down slow. I know some people can pick up vaping and never look back, but that did not work for me. It took me over a month, a bunch of different juices, and a few different models to go from 2pad to just pure vaping. I have also cheated once or twice, but honestly it just reaffirmed that I did not want to go back to smoking. You might be one of those people that can not get rid of analogs completely as you still need that morning cig or after dinner cig or whatever to function and be satisfied. IMHO that is ok, 1 or 2 analogs a day compared to 1 or 2 pad is a whole lot better. Find people that support you in this endeavor, be it a significant other, friends or just people here on ECF, It makes a world of difference. That is just my outlook to you, and good luck this time around.

I just came back to vaping after going back to analogs for a year. The only piece of advice I have is stock up on supplies! If I had had backup atomizers and juice I probably would not have fallen off the wagon. Just make sure you have everything you need to vape and stay off the cigs, take ecig and supplies everywhere you go. Good luck and best wishes on being smoke free. Vape on!:vapor:
