Okay, so I've been vaping for about the last 6 months, and have finally gotten into the rda/mech mod game. I currently have the following:
Manhattan black/copper 18650 tube paired up with a plume veil rda

SMPL 18650 tube paired up with a mutation V2 rda

Innokin mvp 3.0-30 watt box with a aspire atlantis V2(know this isn't a mech/rda set up)

So my question is, whats the hardest hitting, lowest voltage dropping tube on the market. Oh, I like to run, 22-24 ga A1 kanthal, sometimes 26 ga, usually 5/7 wraps, or a 5/6 wrap parralell 24/26 ga A1 kanthal...

Any suggestions?? Help Please!!!

As far as batteries I run:
Sony VCT4's 18650
Efest 35A, 2100 mah 18650
Listman 2100 mah 18650
MY FAVE_MXJO 18650

What is the lowest resistance you run those setups at brayvape520?

I don't regularly do voltage comparisons, but nearly all of my full copper single tube (not modular or telescopic) mods hit really hard.

Even harder yet, though, are my unregulated boxes that take more than one 18650 in parallel.

Honestly?....the vape game has changed over the last year, and regulated (box) mods are becoming extremely popular. Considering the cost of a really good tube mod is more than some of the best regulated mods. I switched up my game a while ago and most of my tube mods sit unused. You just can't beat the low resistance, battery protection and consistent output they deliver.

I don't mean to deflate your decision, It's just a suggestion my friend.

I found the "Flag Ship" mech mod has very little drop, hits just as hard as all my hybrid mods (flag ship has 510 top cap w/ self adjusting pin). I picked it up at a local shop but I'm sure you can find it online. Side note the button on this thing is crazy smooth ball baring setup is inavative must have in any mech collection, and hits like like a champ. I use a seglie 150 box daily but this mech always seems to make its way into my day.

I'm with you, Modmandan, while I loved my mechs I have been bitten by the regulated bug. Now that these devices output the kind of power I/we need, I am very happy. I still use my mechs here and there, but 90% of my vaping is on a regulated device. Before I switched over, though, I was using my SMPLs the most. Nice form factor and my copper hits hard as hell.

I agree pretty hard with the "go with regulated" suggestions. So consistent. So safe.

Additionally, everyone should know, voltage drop not only comes from the mod but from the battery itself. In these voltage drop tests they often use a test rig instead of a live battery (and they also usually use a 1 ohm test atomizer -- you won't see a lot of voltage drop at those low amps), and as a result their "voltage drop tests" are usually very inaccurate.

I would say that when it all goes wrong with a mech, it's usually user error. When it goes pear shaped with a regulated device, it's usually equipment failure. But I'm basing that on my own experiences, and the horror stories that I have seen since I've been on these boards. Not on any actual statistical data.

Agreed. Voltage drop only has meaning within the context of the test setup, more specifically the ohms used.
