ok im still kinda new to the whole mechanical mods scene and making your own wicks...but this is my build and i wanted everyones opinion if its safe and if i could make major clouds....

Grand vapor sentinel m16
Jpge nimbus (1/8 hole size)
Dual wick with 26 kanthanal and 3mm silica ( reads .20)
sony vtc4
pinks spot gummy bear 30pg/70vg 12mg

I don't record or take picture of myself vaping and i don't think that its thick enough(some people is saying its a lot some people says its not)...also not sure if the nic level matters but it does burn my throat a lot to the point i cough but i like that buzz...also safety wise do you think this is good??? Also im currently overseas so going to a local store is out of the question and theirs no sense of buying anymore things if im out of here pretty soon but i would love advice and what works for you...

 I always cringe when someone new to rebuildables is using sub-ohm coils right off the bat, especially as low as 0.20 ohm. That's just 0.2 ohm away from a dead short and blowing up any battery, whether it's designed for sub-ohm builds or not. Plus, you are relying on the accuracy of your particular ohm reader and your ability to measure the resistance accurately. You've allowed yourself no margin of error. Sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

Vapor production is the result of the right combination of the e-liquid (higher vg = more vapor), proper wicking, surface area of the coil, proper air flow, and of course adequate power source, all working together in perfect sync.

I'll only say that the Sony vtc4 is the right battery for sub-ohms. You didn't include a closeup pic of your coils and wick, so I can't comment on that. Most people doing rebuildables find they need to drop their nic levels in their e-liquids. My recommendation is to perfect your coil builds around 1.0 ohm consistantly before doing sub-ohms if you are really concerned about safety. You're presently jumping into the deep end of the pool before learning to swim, and that can be dangerous to you and others.

Never seen the result of a Lithium battery that's gone into thermal runaway?

Yah you's one killah alright haha. Your pretty new to the whole Subohm District i would say try not to venture too far. like Baditude said cuz, Look at what happens to some miniature bombs when they don't want to play nice.

Just be safe, If your going to be doing rebuildables get yoself a Ohms meter so you don't blow yourself up. your face will say mahalos bra.

Welcome another Hawaiian!

I would have real concerns about the accuracy and resolution of whatever you are using to measure the resistance of that setup. At this level something as simple as a meter that only reads to 1 decimal place and rounds a .15 ohm reading up to .2 ohms can make the difference between this being a 19 amp build and being a 25 amp build assuming 100% accuracy. We all know test equipment is built with a margin of error specification and is not 100% accurate. Baditude is absolutely right when he said to perfect your skills with a little more margin for error as the results of the combined errors possible are not worth the risks.

ok i understand about starting at higher ohms but how do i do that...ive used 32 kanthanal wires and its still way under 1.0 ohm and i only do 3 wraps....even with this build ive done was only 3 wraps...but after using my build now it still stays at .20 ohms....can you guys please explain how i would get it to 1.0 ohms...

More wraps. Make and use two 2 Ohm coils to get a 1 Ohm dual coil.

And/or, you could wrap larger diameter coils to gain a higher resistance. The downside to that is lengthened ramp up time.

yea learned that the hard way...a lot of my friends likes to try out what i got when i first started with mech mods and they said it was too harsh....also the way i normally vape is different from everyone else...i usually suck it up n let it sit in my mouth then inhale and exhale.....just recently i started inhaling from the beginning and my throat felt like it was on fire lol...but since i started inhaling as soon as i vape, the amount of vapor that comes out is IMO pretty bad ......but yea i gotta drop the nic level but also do you think its the pg/vg ratio too???

ok so i cant upload pictures at the moment but i just did another build with the same device but different gauge...24 kan with 6 wraps(dual coil with using only one piece of wire) and it reads .28 ....ive tried using the 28, 30, and 32 but they all broke on me when i use them to make dual coils with one piece of wire...every time i use 2 seperate wires to make 2 coils one side glows then the other even though i adjust them....so as of right now untill my 28 flat ribbon wire and more wicks come in im gunna stick with this(i jus ran out of wick....got enough to do one more build and thats it) Due to the fact that im overseas and waiting for the wicks and wires to come in...its not gunna come in untill another week and a half...Also is there any other wicks out there besides silica which has a pretty good vapor production... Ive heard cotton balls is a good one but dont know how to make a wick with cotton balls lol...

well dont get me wrong or anything but i hated vaping with tanks such as kanger protank due to the ohms being to high....i felt like i wasnt getting that kick ... buzz that i got with my friends mech mods back home and to me there wasnt enough vapor production even when i adjusted the output on my provari....with this mech mod and the .26 ohms dual wick i get too much of a throat hit and now i need to tone down my nic level and pg level
