Hey brother bob thanks for the help on one of my previous threads ... u know i had the0.5 ohm on the cubis pro but after a while i just couldnt inhale anymore without choking i dont know if its because of the coil or because i switched from mtl to dtl i did however put in an 0.6 ohm just now and it seems ok also the 0.5 kept gurgling all along no matter how slow i inhaled.. i understand theres better dtl atomizers and coils if youve got any suggestions id be more than happy to recieve.

Most likely you choke because you're not used to dtl (i myself choked alot at first) also just because they make sub 0hm coils for a tank dosen't mean it's meant for dtl (for example i have a .7 coil in my old trusty nautilus, still did mtl since dtl was too harsh) i'd consider the fat scylla sv from freemax I've had great flavors from their coils and nice longevity,i preffered the .5 thought it had the best flavor imo. I also have a big baby beast (bbb) from smok but besides the filling system imo it's about the same but they offer more expansion if needed as they offer an rba deck for probably all their tanks. Coils are overkill imo(sextuple coils.... Really ?) Overall tank recommendations depend largely on what you're trying to accomplish.

God bless you for the kind assistance and knowledge.. say what eleaf tank and coil could you suggest please for sub ohm vaping?

Hopefully, when you ready for subohm you would have gained all the knowledge needed and are building your own coils. Not trying to give you a short answer but there are many things to consider, safety being #1.

i checked out the skylla but its just a 21 ml tank kinda small any other suggestions for good ones out there for sub ohm with larger tanks? (i probably wont be building my own)
Normal scylla has a small tank yes i spoke about the FAT which has more of a 4-4.5 ml tank and most sub 0hm tanks are actually that size (in fact i haven't seen a bigger tank than 5 ml which my nautilus has). The only way a tank is "leak proof" is when airflow is at the top which these are kinda rare (there's still a couple like the baby x from smok or another from aspire but i forgot the name and still it's smaller than 4ml i think). To get a smooth vape that depends on your juice and airflow settings: some juices are more harsh than others and the more airflow the cooler and the more air you get in that vape. Also longevity is SUBJECTIVE just because i can go 1 month on a coil dosen't mean you will too it depends on how much you vape how long how much wattage you're using etc.

edit : Fat Scylla SV Sub Ohm Tank by Freemax

thought i'd add a link to the exact tank i mentionned.

Or maybe aspire...
I only know so much lolz been vaping for a bit more than 3 months myself and i'm going by what i bought and my own opinions ebay to me is worthless buy from reputable sources and brand new otherwise you might as well forget it (counterfeits are everywhere btw) The only sub 0hm tanks i've got atm is like i said the fat scylla and my big baby beast from smok but coil wise i think they're more expensive than most other oems and they vary alot (lots and lots of different coils). Worst case scenario i'd just say to ya go into a vape shop or go like i did trial and errors. There's isin't a single solution that works for everyone after all, try one that you like and see how it goes.

I have an aspire cleto, which also has an extender tank, making it about 5 ml, I believe. Sorry, I don't use it much, it was my son's but he used it like crazy and the coils had great life for him (he went through at least 250 ml of juice a month). It's topfill and a nice vape, I just don't like DL much at all. But, that tank is leakproof, you could shove it in your boot while climbing Everest and be just fine. It's easygoing too, easy to fill, fairly easy to change a coil, and from what I've seen of it, consistent. I think aspire has come out with an updated version but as far as I'm concerned, it's an excellent DL tank. I vaped it at about 30--40 watts, my kid vaped it in the 60--90 range, I think.

In fact, if you want it, you are welcome to it. PM me. I highly doubt I will ever be using it, and I gave it a shot. I don't want anything for it, but I'd like you to have a tank to try if you'd like that. I have a few coils, too, I think, if I can figure out where I put them?

Up to you :)

Anna

also the 0.5 kept gurgling all along no matter how slow i inhaled..

Gurgling is not dependent on how fast you inhale, in fact it really has little to do with it. Gurgling is the juice literally boiling on the coil, normally because there is too much of it. Having to much of it may be due to your priming of the coil or because for whatever reason the coil and/or atty is allowing too much of it to flow. You can distinguish one from the other by hitting the fire button and blowing strongly through your atty to clear it. If the gurgling comes back then it is the latter. Most of us just learn to live with it and ignore it. Some atty's are just noisier than others.

If you were drawing quickly and hard you may just redirect juice being spit by the coil up into your mouth but the real problem is the actual spitting itself since some of it is going into your mouth no matter how slow you breathe. In direct air flows and wire screens have been used to try and eliminate the problem with varying degrees of success.

Spitting is more related to the popping noises you sometimes hear. That popping is rapidly expanding gas and that comes from the juice inside and trapped in the cotton inside coil or trapped in the cotton between the coil wire and the coil housing. Unless you are rebuilding your own coils & wick there isn't much you can do about popping, other than trying a new coil.

Should've been more precise in my comment about the gurgle
If you inhale too fast you will flood the coil and cause more gurgle (or probably worst) like i said i myself had gurgle on some coil and simply changed the way i inhale (ie the speed and force used) it wasen't a break in period since the coil was already used for a couple days beforehand. Again i'm no pro i'm just going by my own experiences and how i fixed my similar issues. Never had spitback though...... Only thing i consistently get is the whistle but i like it :p makes me laugh ahah

Is that an MTL device you are using? I ask because I have DTL devices with relatively free air flows so no matter how hard I draw it wouldn't flood the coil. However if the airflow was being restricted such that drawing hard would create a vacuum to the coil then yes I can see it causing more juice to flow. I hadn't thought of that possibility in my first response. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
