I just ordered an Adaptever and I'm looking for a convenient case for it to use at work. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Me too. It's size/form factor looks comparable to a screwdriver so I did some forum searches for screwdriver case and found nothing that looked appealing to me.

If Whatever made some sort of button lock it really wouldn't need a case.

I guess once it arrives I'll start the search again, like right now I don't know the measurements.

I carried my Screwdriver in the first case I posted. That is what the purple batts are for.

Something like this works very well.

Case Logic $6 on Amazon.

This is what I have also - got mine at Office Depot $6. It was in the cd section. I think they called it usb storage.

See I'm looking for a carrying case too, but I'm looking for something more like a small tin that will hold several fully assembled cigs. What I want to do is have three or four dse901's fit snuggly into a little case not much bigger than a pack of regular cigarettes. It's important when I'm out and about that I have backups and that I'm not forced to leave them in the car. I live in Florida where objects left in cars will burn you when touched (this includes the steering wheel). lol

I'm thinking I'll go to Michaels or somewhere like that and buy foam blocks which I'll then cut with niches for the cigs and then fit the whole nicely into a cigarette tin.

The trouble is finding a case tall enough for a dse901 (118 mm).

Why do the cigs need to be assembled? If fact, it is probably a better idea to carry them dissembled. Less likely that the battery could inadvertently activate and fry an atty and also to prevent juice from leaking into the battery(for auto batts).

That looks like it would be great ... especially considering it isn't model specific (but smaller than the one that Elendil uses - it's HUGE).

How bulky is that when folded up? Do you think it could easily fit in the cargo pocket on standard cargo pants?

Eli

The 4-cap one is 3.5"x3.5"x1", and fits easily in a cargo pocket. It also fits in the side pocket of my laptop backback.

I got a card holder wallet from Gordmans in the purse department. It comfortably holds a fully assembled M402, 3 901 batteries, 1 901 atty, and 1 set of tweezers. Plus it has an elastic strap that keeps everything from rattling around. Similar size/weight to a regular cigarette case except that its already padded and has the strap. Kinda girly though ;)

Ahhha I should have read the entire thread and specified that I'm looking for a case for the Adaptever alone. Something small that I can carry in my jeans pocket that's gonna stop the button from engaging and protect the atomizer from being torn off the adapter.

As for a bigger case and battery/juice/atomizer holder I picked up this as a sort of survival kit for my Prodigy:

It worked out pretty damn well - case is here:
    PCC Personal Carry Case
    and the battery holder:
    Compact Military Battery Holder

It's too big to put in jeans pockets though, fits in jacket pockets or cargo pockets though. From my unscientific measurements (from a video where the Prodigy and Adaptever were side by side) the the Adaptever should fit above the battery holder. The Prodigy definitely does not fit in there though hehe.

Still - I'd really like something small for the Adaptever alone.

Something I have found around the house that some of you may have as well is a nice "eye glasses" case. I have a nice pair of Oakley glasses that came with a kick ... metal carrying case which happens to also hold just about everything I need + for daily outings.

You may find glasses cases near you and find them to be a nice economical solution too.

    Cheers,

Be careful trusting Michaels to have what you need. I thought the same think and found their foam selection to not fit what I needed. All they had at the location I went to was the really hard foam for filling potted plants and such. I searched the entire store, but could not find the nice soft foam for what we need.

Thanks for the tip. I may very likely have went to the same store as I also live in Jacksonville.
