I liked bwb espresso and vaperite's kona cream...

+1 on BWB Espresso... that is probably one of my favorite coffee juices. Sadly, the best coffee juice I ever had was Blu's Java Jolt years ago, but it is only available in their prefilled cartos and I don't recommend their products. BWB cappuccino is good as well. Copper Creek, if I recall, has a highly regarded coffee juice but I have never tried it myself.

Halo's Cafe mocha, I found that to be my favorite when I used it in a genesis style atty
While I love a lot of Halo juices, their Cafe Mocha is one of their flavors that has a horrible musty stink that half of their juice line shares. The flavor is actually decent, but like Torque I cannot get past the smell, and I cannot vape it in the house because the smell will not go away. I can't even open the bottles they smell so bad. It sucks because I love Halo, and they are my main source of juice, but half of their juices share some sort of base with this distinctive foul smell.

My favorite coffee flavors, in no particular order:

Virgin Vapor's Organic Dark Roast Turkish Coffee
Backwoods Brew Espresso
Vape Dudes Mocha Java Drizzle
Heather's Heavenly Vapes Mocha Java Smooth (Needs a lot of steeping but worth the wait.)
Highbrow Vapor Cappuccino Diablo (Needs even longer steeping than HHV!)

I tried Copper Creek's coffee flavor and it was very weak and blah even after steeping for months, which was disappointing. It would probably benefit from extra flavor.

One of my first flavors was "Dark Roast" from Bedford Slims. They advertise it as having Ginkgo and Caffeine in it too. I think that might be accurate. It was only the second coffee flavor I've tried, but I really liked it. It's definitely a fresh brewed black coffee flavor, maybe a hint of sugar.

Unfortunately, it only comes in prefilled carts and you'll need to pick up their battery as well (no air vents in the bottom of the carto so I couldn't use them on any of my other cig-a-likes) - If you can bear having a hipster mustache light up every time you take a pull.

I have several coffee flavors that I rotate around with.

Longtime favorite is Virgin Vapors Kona Velvet Milkshake, although it is so rich and complex that I have to put it aside to not tire of it. Also her Organic Dark Roast Turkish Coffee (more of an espresso to me) and Kona Coffee Milkshake.

Others I enjoy are Vaperite's Kona Cream and Double Espresso, Copper Creek's Coffee (with extra flavor :D and some Sweet Cream from My Freedom Smokes added), Vape Dudes Mocha Java Drizzle (very dark, clogs cartos quickly), Dripeez Coffee, Mrs. T's Amaretto Coffee with Whipped Cream that come off the top of my head.

Good luck. I personally love coffee and I would like it if I could find an authentic coffee vape. I have probably tried 20-30 different coffee vapes from more vendors than I can count (including most of the ones mentioned in this thread). So far I have not found any with a truly authentic coffee flavor. My favorite so far is Ahlusions Tiramisu. Not technically coffee, but a coffee flavored dessert, and I wouldn't call the coffee flavor completely authentic. Yet it was still rather tasty and is probably the only one I would order again. Alien Visions Christie's Cappuccino is pretty good. It's really sweet though, and the coffee flavor is rather light. The only other one I found to be any good was Highbrow Vapors Cappuccino Diablo. I didn't think it was much like a cappuccino, but was somewhat enjoyable.

My next thing is to try Ahlusions actual coffee vapes since the Tiramisu was good, and I also have some DIY coffee stuff. Beyond that, I can always try to extract my own from actual coffee grinds. Some people here have luck with that even though it is a carto clogger.

Hopefully you don't become one of the many like me who simply could not find a good coffee vape. There are some that people seem to enjoy (as you can see in this thread), but coffee is simply one of those flavors few seem to get right if any. I have not had any other flavor from vendors that consistently disappoints as much as coffee. So many of them either taste burnt, or like popcorn, or simply no where near any coffee I have ever tried.

Despite enjoying coffee a lot, I've only tried a couple of juices (VaporAlley coffee, MBV Morning Vape). Both seemed to gunk up coils and/or clog up wicks on clearos REALLY fast. Is this pretty common among coffee juices? Are they all like this? Are there any clear ones that maybe avoid the gunk/clog issues?

A lot of the good coffee flavours may use natural extracts. Coffee is one of those complex flavours that's hard to get right with artificial flavourings alone. Natural extracts tend to be a bit harder on atomisers, clogging them up.

I had a caramel cappuccino (didn't like it) from one company that was a demon - killing atomisers after 1ml. Other coffee flavours I've tried are a lot better but they still have issues. The only good thing is that if you dry burn the atties they come up pretty good, but it's a bit hard on them, cleaning and dry burning more frequently. First few ml, vapes fine, second few ml, a little slow. It goes downhill from there. I've now got it down pat: boil the coffee atomiser for 5 minutes to get all trace of the juice out of the wick. Dry thouroughly then dry burn in short bursts until the coating on the coil is mostly white and you see no more changes. Boil the atty again to get rid of the ash - comes up like new, even the coffee ones in which you can no longer see the coil (looks like a black blob with two wires sticking out).

I've found one very good use for a coffee vape, even for those that don't really like it. When my tobacco flavours all start to taste the same I stick the clearo with the coffee on and have few toots. It seems to reset the pallet completely and I can taste all my tobaccos properly again. I was about to give up on coffee flavours until I discovered this little trick.

I started out with Blu, Java Jolt was my favorite flavor as well. Haven't been able to find anything that replicates it.
