I just got off the Phone with Parked

I had sent back a faulty warranty battery, he called me, and found my claim, and made sure to send it right out. I purchased an 801 kit from him and I am very satisfied with the overall performance of the vaporizer (except of course the battery). I was impressed and suprised to get a phone call from him. He is friendly and knowledgeable about what he sells. I also bought some liquid from him which I also thought was very good. He has his own blend of "niquid" which is strong yet smooth, along with the Janty liquid line.

Overall, I give dietsmokes a high mark.

I ordered my M401 and Joye 510-C from him, along with some accessories. It all came swiftly -- as in, like 2-3 days. Bravo.

But, I also ordered the M401 case and didn't receive it, so I emailed him a week ago. No response. So I emailed again, and again no response. 3rd time I offered an alternate email address, and still no response.

It's only $9, but it's the principle of the thing. I just want to know if it's coming separately or not. I likely won't even use it now that I know what I know (i.e., I carry everything in a glasses case now), but that $9 could become a bottle of liquid or something. I even offered in the 2nd email to save him on shipping by having him send it with another order or something. But no response :/

yeah i agree with jingai, my order was here in 2 days, fast shipping and I love my penstyle kit that i bought from DSmokes, but i was missing a bottle of liquid and the carts he sent for my 4081 were the wrong flavor, 2 emails went un-answered, I'll still order from him again, quality products indeed, i just hope this gets sorted out at some point.

It does appear he can ship FAST when he wants to, that is a fact.

Customer service related issues certainly appear to be a dead end.

I've got two issues, one, from 3/25, of which I have emailed at least twice, PM'd and now filled out the special form recently up on the web site. Got one response over a week ago now that he would look into it, so far zip, nada, nothing.

Second one he hasn't had long enough to deal with yet I am sure.

I'm getting the impression that there is something wrong here and further that any problems have to go to Pay Pal to get any action, that sucks...

Yes, I am a bit frustrated with it all. Simple comms are the lifeblood of any small business and if he is that busy he needs to hire someone or at least say *something*.

Assuming that the number of problems are so no great that it would break him and thus that is why it certainly seems that anything other than direct sales are being ignored.

In the vaccumn of no response, it is EASY to come up with all sorts of horrible senarios :-/.

I did hear from parked today, just to keep the record straight.

Addressed about 1/3 of my issues, pleased with it such as it was.

Tired of screwing around with the original order and asked him to just cancel it. Been long enough and queries have been ignored long enough. Got my 801 atomizers from another source and got enough juice to last for a while too (most from my last 510 order from diet :). Just hope I don't have to get PP involved, but we'll see.

After this bit with comms I am just not sure I will order from diet again. Other than the 510 atomizers going in just over a week and the original order I have been reasonably pleased but the comms issue is probably the deal breaker :-(.

My dealings with dietsmokes include, in chronological order

- a single small order
- an email response containing a falsehood
- an unanswered email
- finding i have a faulty battery
- an unanswered email about battery
- parked indicates that he is swamped with emails and sets up a separate form on his site for warranty/returns
- i send an email using new form
- 2 days later get a reply in a couple days saying he shipped new battery no questions asked.

throughout this period of time i was nearly certain that it was a shady business -- emails and warranties ignored, a falsehood stated to secure a sale. I asked if the m401 batteries have the self cleaning function and he responded in full explicit writing that it does. It doesn't(which is better, but still wtf). Also I just don't like how going $1 over $50 pushes shipping from $5 to $10.

but now really i think the dude's just busy making sure everything ships quickly. I'm very pleased with the next-day ship of original order, and easy battery replacement. Good site too. I have to say, besides the falsehood i'm happy that i got what i wanted and will order from again. Recommended if you're patient with communicating and if you need parts for multiple types of equipment in one shipment. I don't think anyone else has the selection that he has. Good business.

I had the exact problem with a missing 401 case from my order. The only responce I have receivd was to tell me it was sent with my second order. But that order came last week without the case. I have not heard back from him since afer PM, and emails. I'm sure he will get around to it. Like you said, it's just a 9 dollar case, but it's starting to tick me off a bit more each day that goes by.
He is fast to ship the orders if he gets them right.

I have ordered twice and both times have gotten the order in 3 days. Love the 801 penstyle. However I didn't know about the warranty/return form. One of the 801 kits has a faulty battery. I did send an email but got no response. And of course it's past the 14 days now!! All well. My bad. It will not stop me from ordering again from diet smokes.

Well, after asking for my old order to be canceled all of a sudden it was packed and shipped.

Still hasn't addressed the issue with the two dead atomizers, I'm just going to let it sit for now and see what happens, the second 510 seems to be doing OK but that may be because I am only using the manual batteries rather than the HOT and long running automatic ones.

Shame as I did want to order a 401 from him, but we'll see where this ends up. Other than the issues noted, he has gotten stuff out quickly.

For starters this post is not to bash a business or fellow vapor. I am so glad to hear people having good experiences with diet smokes. now for me on the other hand, i had an issue with a 4081 battery 2 weeks ago. Parked responded very quickly and told me he would send one right out that day. well, i guess i fell through the cracks. no new battery and no responses to any contacts for the past week. i understand he has alot on his plate. my liquids i received were great. 4 days to get package. awsome!!!! i just wish i had a battery so i could put the 4081 back into commission. all in all he has great products at great prices. and up until my warranty i had nothing but a good experience. i just hope as time passes his business will be able to keep up with issues like mine. hopefully if we are patient diet smokes will prosper and everyone will enjoy its fruits.

My experience with dietsmokes.com was excellent. I had questions about several items and he emailed me answers very quickly. My order was processed fast with a NICE surprise included - Thanks Parker! I got my order in 4 days, and emailed him another question (being a noob) and he responded extremely fast.

I will definitely order from him in the future. Right now I would bet he's being blasted with orders. Give him a chance and he'll come through.

I've had pretty good experiences with Parker. My first order was some liquid and a 510C which arrived pretty quickly (4 days). I emailed him about some mystery liquid I recieved as well as some missing liquid and didn't hear back from him for a bit. About a week later I got a response about the names of the liquid vs the names on the website and that he would be sending out my missing liquid. He did so and I got it within a day or so of the email with a little extra surprise for my trouble, very grateful. I also ordered 3 M401 kits + liquid + carts from him LATE Wednesday and it arrive on FRIDAY! Everything was in order, perfect!

Now the only thing is one of the auto-batteries I got with my 501 is stuck ON, wierdest thing. I just emailed him about a replacement.

All in all I really like ordering from him, he gets swamped with some of the returns stuff but it's not an easy job to handle. I'll continue ordering from him for sure.
