I just ordered my first juice. I'm from Georgia and have liked what a friend let me try from GLV; so I ordered from there. So far it's good stuff; but I swear the Deadly Sin my friend said he'd "steeped for a while" tasted like hazelnut coffee creamer, now, unsteeped, mine tastes like snickerdoodle.

So, since I noticed that a lot of companies list their recommended steep times and GLV doesn't; I thought, why not start a thread to keep track of what most people recommend for steep times of GLV's popular juices.

All GLV juices' steep times are welcome; but I am most interested in getting times for what I just ordered :vapor: (I have other juices from other companies OTW ATM so I'll vape them and save some of my GLV to allow it to hit it's proper steep time.)

Let's try to start off with:
1. Deadly Sin
2. Melon Boba
3. Nana's Nuts
4. The Keys

Any help is welcome! Thanks in advance.

I gave the following flavors two weeks to steep.

Red-headed ....
Melon Boba
Black Fairy
Deadly Sin

They all pretty much tasted good after that time. Their taste profiles, except for Melon Boba were
pretty consistent over the next six weeks. (I rotate different flavors frequently).

After six weeks, the menthol or cool in the Melon Boba totally over-powered the delicate melon in this great juice.

Bummer. Not a big fan of heavy menthol. The melons really did it for me. (That's what she said!)

Good luck... Ed.

Jeremy from GLV suggests about a week with the cap on if I remember correctly. I always vape GLV out of the mail though and it is really good.

You picked up some great juices. Haven't tried The Keys yet, but the rest are some of my favorites. Deadly Sin and Melon Boba are ADV's for me.

edtexas, I've never had that happen with Melon Boba before. The coolness usually stays the same for me. Have you tried contacting GLV about maybe a bad mix or something?

I like GLV straight out of the mail. Deadly Sin is my #1 ADV. It definitely does taste more like a snickerdoodle - I have never gotten hazelnut from it. If deadly steeps a week or two you get more richness, layers and facets and it does have a "sweet cream" flavor that comes through - maybe thats the creaminess you tasted in the steeped bottle?

Melon Boba is great and edtexas - you should contact Jeremy. I had one poorly mixed bottle that did that with the menthol. I have had plenty of bobas and the melon stayed true in all but one. He will def replace that for you.

The new Bangkok Dangerous is AMAZING after a 2 week steep.

I would say - if you like it as is - vape it. I would also take note once it has been 1 week in and 2 weeks in and the difference. Then you will have a better guide time on what you personally prefer :)
