Hey all.

New member here from the UK, been vaping over a year now, started on the classic Ce4 atomisers on Ego, which i quickly realised was a bad decision.

Moved to the mini PT2 which has been faultless ever since I bought it, threw that on a spinner and bought a sigelei Zmax V3 flat top, and have been using an Aerotank on it for about 6-8 months... Did a bit of building on it, but it's just too fiddly to make coils that don't touch eachother, don't short or low load!

So...

Just bought an orchid V4 (black friday seems to be adopted by the UK now too!) and looking to get into RBA's, so hopefully when I have my post count up I can start asking questions!:)

Hope all's well with everyone and a hello from the UK!

Welcome to ECF! If you have questions, feel free to ask them here. Plenty of knowledgeable folks around. Curious why you were worried about your coils touching.....

On my Kanger's I couldn't have the coils touching the sides etc due to shorts and/or low load readings!
Now i've got the orchid i'm not worried about that any more :)

I was trying to get my post count up so I could post in the specific sub-forums, didn't want to clog up the new members thread!

OK....now I understand. Thought you were talking about individual coils touching each other.

Hey guys I'm a new member been vaping for about a year and a half.

I actually started with the lookalikes but they were too expensive so like PerilousePersimmon I went with the Ce4 and ego then moved up to the Ce5+ found them much easier and cheaper but the flavour and hit was not there so went Ce5+ wickless, bad choice coils never lasted long and kept leaking, went back to Ce5+ wicks and used them till I heard of the bottom coils with Ce5+ used them and then changed to protank mini, they were what I had been looking for great flavour and hit but the tanks were fragile. Looked at a local store in a shopping centre that were selling Evod. Been using Evod now for the past 2 months. With all the kits I have used I have only 1 problem with them, the usb charging leads do not last long.

I have only used regulated mods so far. Any suggestions on if mech is something to try? I hear lots of hype on subohm too. Did a little research but sounds risky any thoughts?

A mech which takes a 18650+kick module is useful to keep as a backup.
Most mech include adjustable centerpin; something that still isn't the norm on other mods.

subohm means stepping closer to the edge of the cliff.

nowadays with new multibattery high powered mods, it is no longer necessary to go as low in ohms to get high power.
