Oh this has been a week of glorious, wonderful news!

As many of you know, I have been out of work for a very long time. Those of you who hang out in the chat room know that I had 2 interviews with Bioware. A few of those folks know that I got a reply from them.

I have a job now. And it requires me to move to Austin, TX.

I am almost out of Unemployment benefits. I thought I was going to have like $300 to move. This is not going to be the case. I looked at my most recent claim form. I'm going to have $1300 to move instead. I won't need to stay with my friend in Austin. I can get a storage unit here in California, and an apartment in Austin. I have a couple who I'm friends with in an MMO I play, they're going to help me out. The wife is going to help me drive back here to Fremont to get my things. And they're going to help me find furniture and such that I'll need to replace.

To all of you who have been keeping me in their thoughts. Thank you. The stars have aligned for me, and things are finally looking up. I get up in the mornings and I have something to look forward to. I have a job I'm going to love, my own place, and folks to help me out.

Wow, that's great! I hope you'll like Texas. I hear the food is really good in Texas! And lots of horses! Jobs are hard to find in my area. Even McDonalds jobs have 10 people fighting for one job. I gave up looking and went back to school. Now I go to college, sell my freelance writings, cook everything from scratch and play the horse races. ;)

Cool...an east coast Zenyatta fan.

Oh, yes! I miss her now that's she's retired. I always thought she was great, even before that gutsy performance in her second Breeder's Cup (which proved her greatness to everyone). I'm glad she got Horse of the Year. Alot of New Yorkers don't like the synthetic tracks, but I'm a big fan of So. Cal racing. I just played Hollywood Park this afternoon.
