My son sent me this and I thought it was fitting for springtime and this forum. Hope you enjoy it.

Dave the rabbit had spent his entire life in a test lab. He was the only rabbit who had ever lived there until one day, the scientist brought in a new rabbit and placed it in a cage right next to Dave's. After the scientist had finished his work and left for the day, this new rabbit introduced himself.

Joe: "Hey...pssst....hey!"
Dave: "What? I'm trying to sleep here!"
Joe: "Are you in?"
Dave: "What are you talking about?"
Joe: "I'm busting out of here tonight. Are you in?"
Dave: "No I'm not in. I'm perfectly happy right where I am."
Joe: "Listen, if you bust out of here with me tonight, I'll show you the three best fields in the world, man. I'm talking about rabbit paradise!"

The conversation went on for awhile, but eventually Joe convinced Dave to go with him so they could see the three best fields in the world. Joe(who had done this many times before) easily freed the two of them and off into the night they went. Before long Joe had led Dave to the first of the three fields. Dave was astonished at what he saw there. All the carrots a rabbit could ever possibly eat and then some. After the two happily munched down as many carrots as they could eat, they sat quietly and looked at the stars above them.

Dave: "I've never seen so many carrots in all of my life. That was great."
Joe: "You haven't seen anything yet, wait 'till I show you the next field."

Although Dave was pretty full on carrots, he reluctantly followed Joe and they wandered even further off into the night. Before long the two rabbits came upon another field and Dave again couldn't believe his eyes. Row after row of fresh heads of lettuce as far as the eye could see. As full as Dave was after eating the carrots, he simply could not resist and the two rabbits began to dine on the feast laid out before them.
After awhile, Dave once again laid out on the ground as satisfied and as full as he had ever felt in his life.

Dave: "You know, at first I had my doubts, but this has been one incredible night. I don't know how you could possibly top this one, my friend.
Joe: "You still haven't seen the best part. Follow me!"

Although Dave was perfectly content just to remain fat and happy, curiousity got the best of him. He just had to see what could possibly top what he had already seen. The two rabbits wandered even further into the night untill they had reached the final stop on Joe's tour.

Joe: "Well, here we are. What do you think?"

Dave again could not believe what he was looking at. Before him was a field that was full of female rabbits as far as the eye could see.
Of course, Dave and Joe went about with the female rabbits(doing what male and female rabbits do best) well into the night and into the early morning hours. When they had finished, the two rabbits lay there completely full and exhausted.

Joe: "This is the life, huh?"
Dave: "It sure is, but I'd better be getting back to the lab now.."
Joe: "WHAT? What are you talking about, man. I just showed you the three best fields in the world! What could be better than this? We can live out here for the rest of our lives with nothing to worry about? What could possibly make you want to go back to that horrible laboratory? We have everything we need right here!"
Dave: "Well, the carrots were good, the lettuce was even better and the girls were great, I'll give you that. But to be honest with you, I'm dying for a cigarette!"

I really like your little story :). Unfortunately it is so true. A content vaper now, it irritates me when someone tells me "I only smoke because I enjoy it". That is such bull. If people only smoked when they enjoyed it, they wouldn't smoke 20-30 cigarettes a day, perhaps 3,4, or 5. But, I was a smoker, and I said the same things :). One book that completely changed the way I think about smoking was Allen Carr's "The Easy Way to Quit Smoking", an excellent read.
