Yankee, if you want to click on my picture and then once in my profile, click on "vaping pictures" on the left, you will see that the firsst picture is of 5 mods. Enlarge the pic and see that the 1st two mods on the left are both using the 306 to 510 drip tip adapter with 510 drip tips on top.

About that. Do you have any experience with metal 306 drip tips? I've heard horror stories about melted plastic ones. Could you shed some light?

??????

I've never heard of a 306 tip melting... however if you shove them down hard enough they can crack up the side.

No experience with a metal 306 tip, I just have a couple plain-jane black ones.

I haven't really used 306's with my Reos, honestly. The RM2 is too much awesome sauce atop the Reo for the 306 to compete.

I do however still love to drip a few flavors on 306's every now and then while at home watching tv. I just got a super cheap ($50) and tiny 14500 VMOD I plan on putting 306's on to have just laying around on the coffee table at home.

I'm totally remembering you now from the general forum. Congrats on making the move to Reo BTW. :D

Might I suggest you initially purchase both a 306 and a 510 atty and then decide which one you prefer?

I prefer the 306, because it's warmer and has a more exaggerated flavor to me. Some people prefer a 510, as it is slightly more convenient. No fussing with drip tips and it generally holds a bit more liquid before having to drip again.

Cheers

306's definitely provide a warmer vape than 510's. I vote for the Cisco spec 306's as well. Occasionally I'll run across a place that has bulk Joye 510's for sale usually 5 for $20. If you want the most bang for your buck though, get a bottom fed RDA like the RM2 or Cyclone. Build your own wick the way you like to vape and once you have it the way you like much, much cheaper way to go.

my .02 :)

BULK 901 801 Joye 510 and 306 atomizers

These were my go to atomizers. I used the 510 and 306 L.R. 1.5. Lasted a long time and worked well.

But my vape was taken hostage by the RM2. It never let me go!

i'm tempted to buy some of those.

i have too many Reos to put a RM2 on all.

and making coils is a biatch until i have my eye surgery.
