Drip Shield vs. Drip Shield Cone

I have an iTaste MVP and plan to purchase a HH.357 atomizer to use with it. I'm also planning to buy a drip shield, but the Avid Vaper website has two options: A drip shield and a drip shield cone.

Here is the drip shield:

Drip Shield 901 | 510 | 306 - Avid Vaper

And here is the drip shield cone:

Drip Shield Cone - Avid Vaper

I do not understand the difference between these two options and what further confuses me is that the product picture for both of these items is exactly the same. All I know is that with the drip shield, you are supposed to use a 501 to 501 adapter and with the drip shield cone, you shouldn't have to use anything extra. Which one should I get?

I'm still new to vaping so this is just what I could tell from the site. The shield will need an adapter to work with 510 and the cone doesn't. I am wanting to try dripping as well so thanks for the links.

Hmm... I'm not sure, but it could just be the difference in threading on the inside, which is why an adapter would be needed with one and not the other, but the product looks the same on the outside. I'm sure someone more helpful will come along.
