The Snow Wolf has arrived! I am about to wind my first Ni200 spaced coil and put it in... something; one of these attys. Where is a good spot to set the TC to get started?

Try 400° and 30W to start. If its too cool, raise your temp 10° at a time. When you find the temp you like, then play with your power if you feel its not getting up to temp fast enough.

TY. Oddly enough, I was futzing around with it, and that's where I ended up. I started at 300 and jumped by 25 degrees. I didn't know you had to set the wattage, but it was on 35 from the last tank with Kanthal wire. I have fired it so I could see the screen (not in my mouth, I mean) and both v and w run up and down to attain and hold temp.
