I’ve vaped (no cigs) every day for almost 9 years now. I like sweet (dark, coil clogging) juice. At my last dental cleaning, I pointed out new stains on my upper teeth. She was able to clean them off. I thought maybe the ejuice was causing the staining. But I’d been vaping the same juice from the same vendor. 
I did an experiment, and exhaled every time one evening through a white hand towel, in the same place. There was no discoloration on the towel, so it wasn’t from vaping.

Everything is caused by vaping. Yellow teeth, dull hair, cracked fingernails, bad dance moves, procrastination, brain fog, crying jags, clogged drain pipes, soil loss, chipped paint, flat tires, constipation, ........, overeating, undereating, over spending, underachieving, overachieving, vampirism, zombie like behavior, criminal tendencies.

For what it's worth, Consumer Reports once rated Ultrabright toothpaste as the best whitening toothpaste. That's been a few years though, and didn't make any comparison to other types of whitener. By the way, Ultrabright seems to be out of stock in every store in this little town.

If I’m not mistaken, whitening toothpaste works by abrasion, ie it’s toothpaste that contains hard small particles that help polishing. I guess you could probably just mix some fine sand into your regular toothpaste and get a similar effect. That’s also the reason you should use them in moderation, if overused they can damage your teeth. Also, some types of stains can’t just be polished away, typically coffee , tea and stains from cigarette smoking come to mind (ask me why I know that…), so the advice above (go see a dentist) is probably the best…
I just use spray paint. I prefer high gloss finish but eggshell is nice on some people.

I was going to bring that up. But, you were able to do so in a more tasteful manner.
I don't think tasteful is the right word, under the circumstances.
Hmmm... Ultrabright eliquid flavor?
I used to like Ultrabright best because of the crazy strong flavor. Nowadays, I hardly ever brush except when I'm going out. Somewhere along the line, a dentist told me that eating cleans your teeth. I'm definitely diligent about eating. He asked me if I ever went to any dentist who cared what kind of toothpaste I used. I had to admit, none. He said brushing can be harmful to the gums because people do it wrong, and that flossing is more important.
I have a feeling you may not be joking. Real turpentine is a pine resin that once was used for all sorts of medical purposes. Dunno about tooth care though.
In my rant above, "Everything is caused by vaping", the word you see censored is di@rrhea. Sometimes the censorship on this site is beyond belief. How could you ever use the term "verbal di@rrhea"? It is a real word. It isn't profanity or cussing or racist or sexist.

They say not to eat the yellow snow but maybe it has the perfect balance of abrasion and cleaning properties.
