For my very first venture into the world of eciggs, I ordered cartos from Good Prophets - Boge LR 510s - which seemed to be near-universally loved on these boards. Good Prophets had a great price for big orders, so I decided to stock up and bought 10 packs of 'em. After all, who knew how fast I'd go through cartos or how many flavors I'd be trying in the coming months? They shipped fast and free, and I was happy.
Well, nearly. I soon discovered that I'm part of that tiny minority that doesn't actually much like low resistance cartos. My ecigg (a Riva 510) seemed harsh to my taste; it irritated my throat, and the carto itself heated up much too fast for my liking. I should add that there was nothing wrong with the cartos themselves. I went through a few boxes filling up new flavors, and none were duds. They just weren't my cup of tea, as they say. Anyway I was ordering a tank for my boyfriend from elsewhere, and threw in a back of Boge standard resistance cartos to try. Low and behold, I preferred the standard resistance - less throat hit and smoother, cooler vapor was exactly what I wanted.
But now I was staring at 6 unopened boxes of LR cartos (down from 10, yes. What can I say? I did try a lot of flavors!). I sent Good Prophets an email, explaining my noob error, and asking if they might be able to switch them, or give store credit? Rob wrote back promptly, saying yes, and gave me a shipping address to mail them back to. He even asked if I had tried the standard resistance already, just to be certain that they'd be what I'd like. I thought that was so stand up of Good Prophets, and I included a letter explaining that they should send me 5 boxes of standard resistance in exchange for the 6 boxes that I was mailing back, as a sort of restocking fee for them. I also included a check for $5.00 to cover the return shipping. Low and behold, less than a week later, and 6 boxes of SR cartos appear in the mail! Rob still hasn't cashed the check either, but I'm going to tell him that he really should.
I'm just so impressed by Good Prophets. They have some of the best prices around, and with customer service like that, I wouldn't even bother trying anyone else. Thanks, Rob!!
