RDA Good RDA for RX200s

There seems to be mixed reviews about it. Some people say it leaks but I'm wondering if those people are trying to use it as a dripper and drip on the coil then comes out the air flow holes. Who knows. I'm thinking I will like it. We will see.

I can help you here, as I have an r200 and about 15 different attys. Here's the list of what I have:
R200x, iStick 100w, Hells Gate 200w and a siglei 75 watt.. the R200 is my primary. The attys:
25mm Kennedy Clone

Three different Rubik's Cube style clones.
Now, the experience: The Mutilators provide heavy vape and decent flavor, but juice will get through the side holes if you over-drip. Freakshow likes to overflow into the lower airholes, spilling out onto the deck, petri clone was defective, 510 tip does not fit snugly, hole is too big... will have to modify that.. The velocity works well, is easy to build on, and has nearly limitless airflow adjustments and is a good standard vape atty. The ice cube is also nice, and has a screen on the chuff tip to knock down the spit back which is nice. The Hatty has a good juice well and tall posts and is also easy to build on and doesn't seem to leak even if you WAY overfill it.. plus the window lets you see how you're doing on juice. In all, they all work just fine if you don't mind managing drips. For the most reliable and maintenance free top I've used so far, I've got to give it to the Tesla RDA and the Kennedy 25 clone. The kennedy has tall hole posts so you can hold more juice. The Tesla has a glass and a metal sleeve, I'm using the glass and it comes with a pair of really nice claptons for the stuff that comes with these devices.. I went with some tiger coils instead and like those better. My recommendation, Tesla and Kennedy25 -

Kennedy 2 post RDA hands down best quality. It will look good on your mod too.

I have both authentic 22mm and 24mm Goon RDAs. Great RDAs but the build deck is a royal PITA to build on IMO.
Thanks for letting me know. I debated on the Goon or the Pharaoh and ended up getting the Pharaoh. Should be here tomorrow. Look at reviews and builds on both and for what I'm wanting I chose the Pharaoh. We will see.

Well it came in today and I built an alien coil wrapped around a 4mm post and that was too much coil. Kept getting a burnt taste so built an alien wrapped around a 3mm post. Seems to be doing a little better. What kind of coils do you run on the RDA?

@mongo74 I have had the Pharaoh for a few weeks now and seem to have pushed it to the side and been vaping on the Buddha. The reason being, whatever coil I'm using no matter what size shaft I wrap it around I have getting hits that seem dry. I've built coils that are just single core 22 ga Ni80 to same ga SS to aliens to stitched claptons. I can't seem to get a coil that is right. I know I'm not wicking it wrong (have tried numerous ways..even as far as watching Rips video and wicking it the same way he does). Doesn't seem to help. What coil are you running in yours? How many wraps around what size shaft? What kind of metal are you using? I like my Ni80 & stainless. Let me know. See if I can figure out something on this RDA to put it back into rotation.

I run a single fused clapton, and a single alien clapton (two different pharoah's) and both somewhat spaced, and the flavor I get on them is wonderful. If you're getting a burnt taste, you have wayyy too much wick in your coil. Please try a narrow wick that moves freely through the coil and make sure your tails are narrow and fluffed. I've used other coils as well and it's never given me a dry/burnt hit. Perhaps you're chain vaping at too high a wattage?

I always fluff the tails but I was always told (years back when I first got into vaping) that you want your wick tight but loose enough that you can pull it without the coils moving. I'll try a smaller amount of cotton and see what happens

What wattage do you vape at? On all my RDA's I vape at 90-120 with .10-.18 coils and never have a problem. This RDA is a bit different

I vape max VG (80-85). I just feel like the vape I get at lower wattage isn't what I'm used to and want to kick it up more. I made a staggered fused Clapton 24 ga Ni80 w/ 28 ga stainless Clapton and 6 wraps around 3 mm. Comes out to .35. Higher than I wanted but I put cotton in it looser than usual and so far this evening seems to be doing good.
