I have a Mutation X v4 I think. I only used it once. Building a dual coil rda was kind of a pain, and my iStick 30w couldn't go high enough to really set it off.

If I didn't get that, I would have gotten the Wotofo Troll. I heard the Freakshow leaks or something. That's the last thing I want to happen with the an open rda.

I also looked into some Derringer RDA. I was surprised it was so cheap for such a popular atomizer, but I didn't get it for some reason. Maybe it had to do with tougher builds.

For now, I'm happy with tanks.

Okay, I'll chime in... I use drippers almost exclusively (aside from my Silver Play V2 tank... which rocks when built right!)
My current collection of RDAs includes the Hobo, Mutation X, Derringer, and Tobh... among others.
Mutation X is great for cloud chasing builds, but lacks a bit in flavor... even with the air flow restricted... it has a large inner chamber in comparison to some other RDAs.
Tobh is a decent atty, but needs modifications to be better than just meh...
Derringer is an awesome atty... great flavor, really good vapor production (especially if you take out the inner AFC ring), but it has very little juice capacity.
Now the Hobo... this is the best atty I have ever used. Great flavor, great vapor production, relatively large juice capacity... it seems that no matter what atomizer I use, I always come back to the Hobo... it is my absolute favorite, and I don't see that changing any time soon... it's just a great design...

Hope this helps...

Are you using an authentic or a clone? In either case, do you have a clone brand recommendation for those that can't afford $90ish on an RDA? I'm not even certain how I feel about clones myself, but I figure someone is bound to wonder...

Mostly clones... Mutation is authentic, Derringer and Tobh I got from FastTech, and the Hobo was gifted to me... I know it is a clone, but I don't know who made it.
My experience is that most any clone can be decent, you just may have to do some modification to it. I've re-threaded post holes for better screws, drilled air flow, ground out sections... just use your imagination and try to make it better. Tobeco does make a pretty decent clone of a lot of things, though...

ETA:
That being said, I do like to pick up clones to determine whether or not I'll like an atty enough to get the authentic... take the Derringer for example. I will likely pick up the authentic version of it because it produces such great flavor. One of these days, I'll get an authentic Hobo as well. I don't even use the Tobh anymore, because the other RDAs I have are just better to me...
