I'm posting this to recount an experience I had recently with Rob at GoodProphets...I think things like this merit sharing, and I hope that others see this and it helps choose a good supplier...
I've ordered with GP once or twice before...nothing big, products were fine, prices were good, and shipping was fast, but I didn't consider GP a "go to" supplier.
Recently, I decided to try dripping for the first time, and I ordered an 801 atomizer and an adapter to use the atomizer on my 808 batteries.
The atomizer worked fine for a day or two, but then shorted out and fried a battery along with it. (No, I didn't flood it or get juice in the battery). I sent Rob at GoodProphets a message detailing what had happened...not because I was angry, I really just wanted to know if I'd done anything wrong.
Rob got back to me and said that it sounded like either the atomizer or the adapter was defective. Since he didn't know which, he would be willing to replace both, which I thought was really cool.
A couple of days later, I got another message from Rob. He sent *two* new atomizers (I only bought one from him initially) and adapters, AND sent a 380 mAh battery to replace the battery that fried- a battery that I did not buy from him in the first place. I should also point out that the battery that fried was not a 380 mAh battery, so he actually sent me an upgrade to replace something that was not even from him.
Holy crap. That's AWESOME!!! Seriously, if that isn't standing behind your product and taking care of your customer, I don't know what is.
Rob didn't even ask that I send the defective atomizer/adapter back to him- which is nice, because with finals coming up and a full-time job, even a trip to the post office costs me time I don't really have.
Rob, GP will now be a "go-to" supplier for me. I would encourage anyone and everyone to give this vendor a shot- I'd heard great things about GP's customer service before, but it was really cool to see it for myself.
