I am really getting tired off Google, but don't know of a better search engine. I mean today I fire up the old computer and head out to Google. There is the normal Google page. Where's the cool "Googlized" picture for the soldiers? They have them for every other holiday and other things, some of which I have never heard of, but not for the vets. We get a small American flag with a little yellow ribbon on it. Oh gee, thanks Google! Jerks!

Thanks for letting me rant.

P.S. Please do not suggest Bing as a search engine. I would rather have my toes drug through broken glass than use that junk. (And yes, I have tried it. Microsoft needs to re-think that product).

Keep in mind that it's also very possible that they do not want to cheapen memorial day by making light of it with their logo. Especially when we're at war, Memorial Day is about the soldiers and a company has to be very careful to not appear as though they are capitalizing on the soldiers.

They didn't forget the day, as evidenced by the yellow ribbon at the bottom, so I don't know that getting bent out of shape is really necessary.

PacMan was a birthday, as was Cookie Monster once upon a time. You'll also notice that, aside from birthdays, most of the "googleized" thinks are happy holidays. Memorial day is a day of reverence and honoring the fallen, and a happy logo doesn't really apply here.

I agree.

Why should they "Google-ize" Memorial Day?

Maybe they should make it like the Pacman one, but some kind of first person shooter or something.
