vape mail is starting to arrive and yesterday I received my order from Mom and Pop. I tried their RY4, Buttered Rum and Heavenly Seven Layer. Having never had RY4 before I have no basis of comparison however I found it very smooth with a nice sweetness to it. I will try some others so as to compare. The Butter rum was very rumy and I would have prefered a bit more buttery flavor. Maybe it will mellow out with a little ageing. The Heavenly Seven Layer is a very mellow vape but tastes nothing I would have expected from seven layer cake. That is not to say it is not good. It actually keeps me coming back for more. It has a mellow earthy sweet taste with hints of other flavors that keep me guessing as to what they are. I can't wait til it ages a bit. However the flavors play off one another very well right out of the box.

I've had 8 bottles from Mom & Pop for around 3 weeks now, and they should do well with a bit of steeping. I can tell you the Strawberry Cheesecake started off as "meh" when I got it - tasted strange, with some tangy, almost bitter undertones that don't belong in a flavor that should be sweet on sweet. The sweetness was also a bit cloying.
Fast forward 3 weeks, and now it has mellowed out, the tang and bitterness are gone, and the sweetness is, for me, just right.
BTW, I did not shake these bottles, or even leave them open to air them out. I just let them sit in a box for these 3 weeks. Not sure if exposing them to air or daily shaking might accelerate this process, or even if they were ready to vape earlier than the 3 weeks it took me to get back to them.

I think the overtone of rum flavor will mellow with some age. I had two bottles of Butterscotch from MBV the first bottle when opened was nice but a little light on flavor intensity (had 1 flavor shot) I aged it and it did intensify with time. However the 2nd bottle remained un-opened and not shaken. When I opened it 3 weeks later I was expecting to have to properly age it with daily shaking and exposure to the air. It needed none of that The flavor is amazing. Next order I will try 2 shots so as to get a bit more of an instant gratification
