LOL My little ones are 17 and 14 (which make me OLD!) but we enjoyed the movie very much. Only we didn't see it in 3D...the kids have some kind of aversion to 3D for some reason and so I've never even seen a 3D movie. Someday when they're grown and gone, I'm going to take myself to one!

She's six! And, not to worry, if I'd had kids when I was 'supposed' to, they'd be older than yours, I'm sure!!
I got the shock of a lifetime when I got a call from back home and my girlfriend that I pal-ed around with told me she's going to be a grandmother!!
Oh yeah..I'm REALLY going to have some fun with THIS one..
And, by all means, take yourself out on a date and see the 3D..it's amazing nowadays!! (To show my age, I can still remember seeing my first 3D movie..The Creature from The Black Lagoon!! (Yes, obviously it was out in re-release..but STILL!!)

Iron man 2 was great! I think I liked it better then 1..he is so funny when he is being egostical and clueless! We watched 8 legged freaks a couple of days ago and Mike couldn't equate Scarlette Johanssen in that movie (about 16 at the time) with the woman in Ironman 2.
Our theater has two small theaters with about 10 seats across with an aisle in the middle..the ticket was $5.
I saw how to train your dinosaur in 3 D..very good! But the trailers showing live action movies in 3 D gave me a headache. I will stick to cartoons or whatever.
Mike and I had a nice time! I had a time keeping him awake in the middle..too dark and cool in the theater. he woke up when the fighting started..too loud!

I wanted to see How to Train your Dragon but we never made it. See, I had to get my own kids so I could go see all the good movies without renting my friends' kids. Ha!

Ha!! Yup, I used to do the same thing..Rent A Kid!! We kinda figured that would be the extent of it, considering the DH will be 72 on June 3rd!! To say that Payton was a SURPRISE, would be putting it mildly...
My grandson will be 4 this year.

The kids will LOVE them flying low! And, there's MORE than enough in the movies to entertain the adults too! If he won't go, smack him over the head with your club and drag him in!!
Mike wants to go see Prince of Persia next weekend! Cool..2 dates in one month!
We finally made it to see "Prince of Persia" today. We can't leave the dog when it is thundering and lightning..she would just panic. The regular summer storm came early today..so we went!
I just loved it! Lots of fighting running and chasing..spunky princess, tongue tied prince. Good guys who were bad guys, bad guys who were good guys..and Mike snored through it! As there was 5 people in the whole place including us..I vaped!
We stopped at the Chinese place and got dinner. Good ending for a nice day.

Glad to hear it MK!! I wanted to see it too, but hadn't heard much about it, now I'm dragging Brian off to the show. If he doesn't like it, I'll tell him to blame YOU!
