Like the title says I got a job at my favorite B&M; the only one around that doesn't charge $80 for a chi you clone...
I have been a weekly costumer there for about 3 months now. I have got to know them really well they have always been really nice to my family, girlfriend & I when we come in. One of the guys told me on Reddit the other day to drop off a resume just in case. Went in today and the owner basically interviewed me on the spot I walked away with a job. I should start this Wednesday for training.
Now I have two jobs that I will love going to work.
Needless to say I am Very Excited to start! I am not sure if I should say the name of the shop. I think on my first day I might buy a Hercules. lol
Also sorry if this is in the wrong subforum.

That's awesome, congratulations! I wish I could work part time in a B&M, just to support my vaping habit. Sadly, there aren't any around me :(

Yeah I am really happy about it. I just hope I don't spend all the money I make there on vaping gear.

Nope, not wrong subforum.

But now you have to work for pluid.....
and discounts for all the others in the
Peach State Vapors........:toast:

Pluid?
I wish I could hook everyone up with a discount I don't even know if I will get one lmao. If I do I have no idea how much of a discount it will be.

No, really,
To work in the vape industry,
and be a vaper.........
Man you are on the front lines.
Just PIF to all you meet.
CONGRATS,
Let us know where you are at,
GA has been lacking in good vape B&M stores....

I swear man I am 22 and I am lost lmao. I thought I was hip with the lingo. What does Pluid... I have a feeling I am gonna feel dumb when you tell me.
But thank you! I will try to keep this thread updated and let everyone know how it goes.

PM'ing a mod is sound advice, however I suspect that naming the shop out of excitement for new employment is okay. Trying to sell things or otherwise represent the shop is another thing entirely. I don't believe you are considered a "vendor" just because you work for a B&M, Manufacturer, Juice Company, etc., unless you are ACTING on behalf of the company and NOT out of personal interest. Again, I could be wrong, but I think it's okay to say who you work for.

I don't think you should post the name of the shop, it might make you a "vendor", PM a mod if you want to know for sure

Thank you both for the advice I think I am just not going to say the name of the shop. For now at least, out of respect for the possible rules and my new employer.

Nice! I wanted to work PT at a couple of local B&M stores also... I'll have to keep searching since both places failed to meet the simplest form of customer service.

I know what you mean man. I have been to most of the one's around here in GA and all of them have has ....ty CS or extremely marked up prices I have two that I really like. One I got a job at and the other isn't doing to well. I think they set up in a bad location.

I wouldnt mind a weekend job at one of my Vapor shops. Would get to meet people as well as see new products and try new vape.

I know I am excited to see all the new stuff come in.

The one close to my house has employees who bad mouth just about every customer who leaves... They say frankly disgustingly rude things. Nice to know they are not all like that.

I hate this. I have worked in retail most of my jobs. I have seen this happen allot. I used to be a correctional officer the one good thing they taught us was don't let anyone affect your day and don't take it home with you.
