Got a new Mod today. But got a question.

My new Stringray X Clone by Infinite arrived today. Took me a few minutes to figure it out. I like it. But Anyone know what the Brass ring is for? Adapter of some kind? Doesn't appear I need it. I've tried my Dodge Competition and Swirlfish on it. Both work great. They are both set up at .6 to .8 ohms.

I've never gotten a brass ring with any of mine. Is it the copper hybrid connector? They come with the tubes for the 3 common 18xxx batteries, a switch, a top cap, a hybrid connector and a drip tip.

I found a review. It's a hybrid adapter for smaller batteries. I'm using 18650's, don't need it. So, I'll only need it for shorter batteries.
