Stainless steel nemesis clone
protank 3 with 5 extra 1.8 ohm coils
smoktec kick 5-12 watts
Volt meter for battery & ohm reader
Stillare Infinite SXK Cartel V2 SS Brass Copper clone with organic cotton as the wicking
Sony vtc3 18650 1600 mah 30 a battery with 18650 battery case
Lightning vapes 26 gauge kanthal wire
nitecore i2 charger

Looks like im finally ready to get modding well with all this equitment I just have a few questions
At exactly what voltage should I use a new battery? ive heard anywhere from until it stops hitting to down to 3.2
How should I clean my rda/mechanical mod?
What ohm should I use for my first build?
Any safety tips I should be aware of?
what should i build of my rda a micro coil or....?
what mix can I use for my tank/rda?

North Texas ya'll
congrats.
i'm not a fan of a kick but hey, if you like it God bless. to answer some of the questions.
What ohm should I use for my first build?
I like a 0.5ohms unless you use that kick, then your limited to like a 0.9-1.0 lowest i think........i'll be corrected. your battery is a 30a pretty safe
Any safety tips I should be aware of?
ohms Law - battery to ohms. tons of links here.
what mix can I use for my tank/rda?
i assume you mean you liquid. for the RDA, for me, i use max VG. depends on the vendor but typically 90%+
in my signature is a link for a wrap calculator, i use it. makes building much easier. there are several tabs you can check discharge and other stuff.

BEST of luck to ya!!

edit:
check Baditude's blogs. TONS and TONS of info.

The absolute lowest your battery should go is 3 volts (I think most are fine down to 2.5), much lower and it becomes dangerous to charge them. I'm personally amazed at how long my batteries last with a 0.9 ohm coil; the VTR often died before a full day at 15 watts, but 1.5 days isn't out of the question on mech. Oh, and I've never had them go below 3.80 volts; it takes a ridiculously long time at around 1 ohm :)

I just got a mech and I've been very happy in the 0.9-1.2 ohm range with drippers. I've tried to go lower, but it hasn't worked out great with 28 gauge.

I'd personally try around 1 ohm on the Stillaire to start, and work on making that a great vape, especially if this is your first rebuildable.

Ah, just noticed, 26ga. I haven't worked with that, so 1 ohm may be a bit much to ask. I don't think 26ga and a kick will get along well together. I'd see what 8 wraps would be using Steam Engine, and see where that takes you. It's well within the battery limits, that's for sure.

Welcome aboard. I personally decided not to go below 0.5 ohm because I don't like the flavor when it's that hot. But that's entirely opinion. :2c:
I also like micro coils. Again...just my :2c:
But as for your battery...Keep an eye on it. When it gets to 3.4 or maybe 3.3 put it on the charger. If you accidentally go too low you can damage the battery. Charging more often is much better than running low. I have read from some manufacturers that if you let the battery get down to 2.7 it will likely kill the battery. A lot of chargers wont even recharge it if it's that low. So have a multimeter. I use this one for checking batteries, checking coils, and working on my RV. Much better than spending 10 bucks on something that can only read coils.

Shoot for 1 ohm on the Stillare. With 26 gauge that should be single coil, 9 or 10 wraps around a 3/32 drill bit. I run this coil in a Stillare and use it on my iStick and mechs in 350 mode, and it works very well. On the iStick I run it at 20 watts and on a mechanical it's in the 15/16 watt range. It vapes very nicely on both. As for cleaning, warm water and dish soap, and maybe swap the threads with isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip. Safety tips: Respect the batteries, lock your button when not in use, respect the batteries. It looks like you've got a very solid setup so it should serve you well. And the i2 is a great little charger.
