I just switched from cigarettes to a Totally Wicked Tornado T, and I have thought about having a rotation of PV's, but I realize that I really like this one. I notice that there is a huge market for spare parts, and I'd like to know what I should keep on hand for those just in case situations. I am afraid if I don't have something, I may resort to going back to cigarettes until I can get a new one.

I am about to order a set of empty tanks, and some more of those little caps that that I am told wear out after being punctured. Do I need a spare atomizer or battery? I have no idea what it is that goes out on these things, and I'd love to hear from people with experience on these matters :)

If you are using tank atomizers, you should have a spare tank atomizer.

Some place sells replacement doors for the Ego-T tanks (what you have is an Ego-T, possibly a clone model rather than Joye). Not sure who sells those buy they might be handy.

tanks like juices with 30% or less VG, 100% PG may be more prone to leak. Thicker than 30% may wick too slowly vs how fast you vape. Some thinner 50/50 juices may work.

I also recommend a normal 510 atomizer and 510 drip tip for testing juices.

And learn to use Boge 510 cartomizers (most popular 510-threaded cartos) - metal body, can be used with cinnamon flavors (which damage plastic) or any clingy flavors you don't want stuck in your attys. And if you have atomizer problems the cartos are a good backup. The 3 ohm are just a bit warm and easy to learn on, 2 ohms are hotter and use charge up faster. Fill totally (hold tissue on the threaded end and make one that 18 drops, wait then a few more - whatever it will soak in). Then clean it up, blow into threaded end to clear out air channel, lay on different sides 15-20 minutes to settle it and make sure every bit of stuffing is damp. Then keep it dap to avoid singeing. I can get 10 days use out of one using thin clear juices (I use 80PG/20VG and 90PG/10VG and avoid juices that drop a lot of flavoring sediment)
