I'm really enjoying this. By far it is the best tank I have bought.

I bought aerotank bases for all of my protanks 2's. I rebuild my protank heads with .9-1.1 ohm micro coils. The air flow control makes these things perform awesome. I used to have a big problem with airflow getting blocked off on my protanks. I do use the real aerotank on my MVP when I'm in the mood to use it.

I love my Aerotank too! I love the looks and the vape, especially with rebuilt coils! I usually make a 1.5 to 1.8 Ohm 30 gauge micro to use on my Sig Zmax V3.

Dac311, have you rebuilt the dual Aero coils? I found them a little bit tricky at first but they do come out so nice wicked with sterile cotton!

I got a ton of leaking when I rebuilt an aerotank head with a single coil. I tried doing a dual coil rebuild, but I couldn't get it to work right.

I figured that to replace dual coils I'd have to stuff in at least a 2mm micro. Unfortunately a 2mm micro screwdriver I wrap on won't fit down into the head to hold the coil in place so...

The trick I found was to wrap a 2mm micro and wick it with a very tight twisted 3 inch thread of sterile cotton before installing. Feed the leads and pinch the cotton on either side of the head toward the bottom. This keeps the coil in position as I put the grommet and pin back in. I trim the cotton and fluff each side with a toothpick so nice little cotton clouds fill the openings! I've rebuilt this way 4 or 5 times and it has worked really well each time, no leaks, dry hits or gurgles.

The only downside is I can't dry fire the coil prior to wicking, I do torch it really well with a bernzomatic micro torch to make it nice and tight though.

I really didn't like my Aerotank to begin with... once I dropped the double coils and rebuilt a single micro coil for it the Aerotank became my everyday all day clearo. Great little tank. I wish Kanger would of made them a bit prettier though
My favorite tank to vape with in the same way....
