So as some of you may know, I've been rocking a Lavatube for a while (way too long). It was pretty good, worked great with my tanks, and generally performed admirably. Finally, after distinguished service it decided it was time to retire. Stripped threads and all.
I went online and decided, eh, why not? and ordered myself a Vamo 35w, 4 vtc3 batteries, some more Kanthal and mesh, and a few other minor things.
As of yet, everything has arrived except the Vamo, which is apparently still in the far East.
I got a bit tired of waiting so I went out and bought a FUhattan and a copper Tobh (probably a clone, but eh) and dear GOD. I kept discounting mechanical mods as the old way of building because I used to build em out of various things (an altoids tin and several snus tins were probably my favorite builds). Never thought that it'd be such a difference running a high sub-ohm build (around .8) over the old 1.5 or so coils I used to make, but wow... I'm not even sure I'm going to need the vamo...Maybe I'll use it for out of the house so I can run my tanks properly.
Also, I've been having a great time letting the other vapers at the local Ren Faire try my 36mg flavors. It's fun
