Got my eGo in today annnnd its going back tomorrow"hopefully"

Well i received my eGo from Liberty Flights today,pu the charge on the battery and vaping i went. My God did it taste horrid. " as to be expected from most pre filled carts." So i fill one of the 510 cartomizers i purchased through them. I cant explain the taste . Maybe a cotton mixed with china flavor. lol I made sure that the carto wasnt too dry and tried again. It vapes,but im not getting any flavor. Being the good people they are there,i hope to return it tomorrow and stick with the ol trustee smokestik

Sorry to hear that. Most people love their eGo's when they get them. Yes the prefilled carts suck. Take the polyfill out wash it under water then fill with a different liquid. I bet it will taste better. I hope you bought a few sample liquids. Could be the flavor isn't your cup of tea. The carto issue sounds like the wadding was not totally soaked. What type of carto and how many drops did you get in there? They do taste like sucking a wet mop if you don't get all the wadding wet. Good luck

I would give dripping a try as well. Do you have any selection of juice at all? Dripping usually allows the flavors to shine compared to the poly carts that come with it. I have 2 ego kits, and just ordered 3 more batteries for mine from LF. Their service is definitely great.

I had the same problem with an ego kit that I purchased (from another seller)!! I posted here yesterday,"Flavor Issues between KR808 and Joye eGO's" and got a few suggestions. Going to order the ego mega atomizer and cartridge to see if it makes any difference...sure hope so otherwise these just won't get used. I have to taste SOMETHING besides vapor when I vape. I don't even care if I'm getting massive amounts of vaper!! Good luck. If you find out anything different than what I did in my post...could you post a reply to mine and let me know? By the way...I just purchased and received an ego passthrough (manual, 1000mah) from Cignot and I love it! Getting flavor and vapor

Hate to ask this, but are you blowing the atty's out real well before using them?
I couldn't taste anything when I first started but once I started different juices it all changed.... sorry you're having some troubles, I love my ego!

I placed my order with Cignot 11/28. Not the fastest in the world but the usual time it takes to ship most stuff. Their prices are very reasonable however!!

I have to also ask if you blew the atty out...as I ordered one of these as a gift and tasted the prefilled carts...they definately had a dekang tobacco taste

but if you don't like the way 510's vape there are some other big battery options like
the Leo
and the pigstick from lecig

yes if you don't blow the primer out, or even clean the atty before using, it will take a bit of juice to get the nasty out.
having purchased three eGo kits for myself and 2 for friends, besides the initial primer junk I haven't had an issue yet!
I LOVE my eGo and am very pleased with my experience with Vaping so far!~

Don't blame the eGo (or LibertyFlights) for pre-filled carts that taste like ..... Just rinse them out, fill them with tasty juice (you bought juice, right?) and vape your head off!

thanks for all of the replies. Im not real sure on how to exactly blow the attys out. You mean literally? I used backwoods brew eliquid which is my go to for the other units. Im thinking it is a cartomizer issue or maybe i got used to the low res 4801s very fast. I didnt want to bust open more prefilled carts and clean the packing just yet due to warranty issues. Id say the good folks at LF will understand. Ill give it a go. I mean,3.7 volts is 3.7 no matter what unit im ising right? Again it may be these 3.5 ohm cartz or something..

Yes, take off the atomizer put one end to your mouth and blow into a paper towel a few times. You will be amazed at the amount of liquid that comes out of a brand new one! The stuff is beyond horrid tasting!!!

make sure you have a paper towel to catch the liquid

See.... there you go.....I blow them the other way!!! lol

Also drip 4-5 drops of your juice onto the bridge of the atty after you've blown out the primer.

Now there is the issue! IMO - 3.5 ohm on an eGo is going to give you a very cool low airy vape and I was never happy with them. If you have been using LR stuff then that would explain a lot. I use the Boge softcap LR 2.0 ohm mega cartos on my eGos and love them. I drip mostly on the ProVape with Cisco LR atty's and find those LR cartos get the job done for the times I just can't drip. I buy the LR 2.0 ohms cartos from Nhaler and I also use LR 1.8 ohm Cartos from ProVape. I am also partial to the verticle element of these cartos and find they give a much better hit than the coiled element in the Joyes. I hope you find what works for you.

I used my canned air - and parked them up-ended afterwards and there was still drainage, enough to mark up my mousepad
Also I have found that plenty of made-when-ordered juices do improve over time with steeping, allowing the flavors to marry <blend>

yes cignot is bery fast with their shipping, i would suspect the 3.5 ohm also, granted i use my ego with an atomizer but even the differance between 1.7 lr atty and a 2.4 normal atty is HUGE, i can not go back to the regular atty after being used to the lr now. so i would think a 3.5 would be like breathing in air.
