Where did you buy it? Is there a warranty? I myself made the mistake buying my first from a gas station. I paid 40 bucks for 2 batts, 1 atty, and some carts. First batt. quit after a week. It did say it had a warranty but I'd have to pay shipping. Luckily I did more research and found a much much better one online for 32 bucks. Got a nice 510 titan manual. much happier with this one.

Pepsifreak, I have a similar situation with the local mall that sells vaping products out here. They only sell a single battery 808 starter style kit for $20 A knockoff eGo kit for $100. Juice for $15 for a 10ml. and cartomizer 5 packs for $20, the only accessories they have are cases & chargers for the 808's. No extra atomizers, blanks, or similar products. Vaping out here is more costly that real cigs. I have the patience to wait out shipping to get better items at better prices online.

I sincerely recommend that you visit the forum suppliers tab at the top of this forum page. Do business with reputable sellers and do some research and find a good quality PV for MUCH less money than you would spend at your local smoke shop or gas station. 99% of those things are a rip off.

Very true, after finding better alternatives online, I will never do business with shops that don't stand behind their products, , most likely don't use themselves and just want to make money off you.

Hopefully you didn't buy into the whole "one cart is equal to one pack of smokes" BS either...

For me, one cart is equal to about 2 packs of analogs, maybe more. Seriously, 1 cart lasts 2 days or longer. Whereas, I smoked a pack a day, every day, sometimes more towards the end.

Does anyone have a similar experience?

Not even close! Wow! I was a PAD smoker also, but one cart (back when I used carts rather than cartos) only lasted about 30-45 minutes.

I use a Volt 78mm 320 mAh battery, which lasts about 2 days on a full charge. From what I've read that seems unusual too. Is that correct?

Yea, that would probably last me an hour battery wise. You must be doing something right to get that kind of mileage out of it.

I guess I don't vape as much as the typical vaper.
I don't use until 1 to 1.5 hours after I wake up, which is atypical compared to when I smoked.
By 6:00 pm most days, I've had enough and my cravings are gone. If I vape in the evening, its out of habit, not desire.
I should probably start cutting down on my nicotine level and break this habit as quickly as possible.

I would say a cartomizer is more like a carton , not a pack ...... as long as you have a bottle of juice to go with it.
I'm lucky enough to have one of those suppliers listed in the supplier tab 5 minutes from my house, so I have never had the problem of waiting for stuff. That also means that there were people right here to hold my hand, and show me how to use things properly so that I didn't burn up 2 day old batteries.

I would think it's entirely up to you, but I'll encourage you to do just that (quit) if that's what you want. If I could go that long without vaping, I guarantee you I'd be quitting. But I enjoy vaping too much to go without it more than an hour or two. Most of the time I have my PV glued to my hands...really sucks when you're trying to type.
