I wouldn't buy a proprietary ecig again unless you want a ciggy look-a-like. If I were you, I would go with a Bolt, extension sleeve, 2 x 18650 AW batteries, and a charger. One 18650 battery will last an average vaper well over a day. They are bigger but worth it. The batteries are cheap to replace versus what you'll pay for an eGo or KGO.

Another option is the e-power. Comes in both an 18650 or 14650 size. batteries are cheaper to replace.

Both models are sold by a bunch of reputable sellers. Personally, I like the Bolt over the e-power.

Wow!!! I have heard bad reviews of the premium blu's, I currently own a premium 100 kit and the battery will last me an entire day, however, the premium 100 carts do lose flavor after a day of vaping, and start tasting burned after 1-2 days.

Which is why I am deciding on a joye 510-tank system

I haven't really experienced bad customer service with blu, I accidentally broke the blu charging box and they replaced it free of charge. But after the 30days you can't get your money back :(

Whatever you do, DO NOT waste your money on a Joye 510 Tank System. They suck so bad. If your juice isn't water thin, it will not feed properly and you will get dry hit after dry hit. Your throat will start to hurt after one day due to all the dry hits. I know. I've tried 3 of them.

Agreed! I did quite a bit of research and ended up going with the Joye eGo-C instead due to the poor reviews of the 510 Tank System.

The 10 minute comment got me curious. So, out of curiosity, did you use a non-blu cart (like an LR or lower ohm cart) on that battery? If so, do you happen to know the ohms?

The comments above discuss alternatives and other types of e-cigs so I'll not get into that.

P.S.
I have heard that the premium 100 batteries are better. There is a sub-forum related to them that will get you experienced blu user feedback.

Blu Electronic Cigarettes

Make a few more replies here to get your post count up (non-spam) then wait an hour and head over there where you can then post. You post count is too low right now to post anywhere other than the new user section.

Having both the regular Blu and the premium 100's I can verify that the premium 100 is far superior in just about every respect. The batteries last much longer, and the PCC is also vastly improved.

I second you advice to the OP that he should get his post count up and talk to the folks over in the Blu forum section.
I'm sure they'll be able to answer just about any question he may have

Trust me. All you people that are still using the cig-look-a-likes are wasting money. Eventually you will move up to a good mod. and you'll be saying to yourself "boy, did I waste a lot of money". So, do yourself a favor, find something that looks good, is within your budget, will last all day, will taste right for you and has enormous vapor and start a vaping experience that is much better than any analog you've ever had. Just my $.02.

lol. That's kinda funny silverbullit. Coincidentally, I was puffing on a 510 auto battery (from 2 years back) as I read that.

I keep the 510 around when I get sick of lugging my box mod around, or want that "analog" form factor. I got that tip from my mom (who quit smoking AND has now quit vaping too.) I know that when my mom quit smoking, and switched to e-cigs... she used an eGo most of the time, but kept some 510s around for the "feel" and form factor. I use 5v box AVPs (mods) 99.9% of the time (which is why the auto battery lasted 2 years). There is a difference, to be sure. But it is funny that I read that when I did.

It doesn't have to be all-or-nothing, only one e-cig. In fact, if we ask around we'll find people with tons of different hardware. Some they like, some they don't. I definitely went through the "cig sized" phase.

I'd say the OP would be best served with .... whatever he is comfortable with. His gripe about refund vs replacement is kinda sour grapes, IMO. Happens when you're low on nic :D.

OP, those carts are 510 compatible. You don't have to toss them if you decide to switch unless you don't go 510 fittings. I'd get the free replacement batteries too. Who knows, maybe there a hardware rev in there, or just "better luck".

Just remember my $.02 may be counterfeit currency in other parts.

People that frequent this forum (especially the newbees) run the gamut of needs and wants. What seems incredibly stupid to one vapor may make perfect sense to another. There really isn’t a right or wrong here. The best course of action is to educate the newbees without belittling them for wanting what they want, or liking what they like.

For many people, the cig lookalikes work just fine, get them off the analogs, and leave their users with a happy vaping experience. Others want a new hobby and poo-poo anything but the latest and greatest devices. There is a great thread on the buyout where they say the VAST majority of vapors are quite happy sticking with the cig lookalikes, and the people that are interested in moving up are a small percentage (see page 20 &21 of the thread). http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/media-general-news/290817-lorillard-purchases-blu-e-cigs-21.html

I fall somewhere in between. I love my Kgo with a stardust for home vaping, and love my Blu for driving and situations where I have to pocket my PV. I get good use out of both. I’ve found what works for ME.

As a techie and hobbyist, I will undoubtedly try VV and VW PV’s in the near future, but I realize that I don’t represent the average person.

I bought the mistic because the store down the street sells them and they are pretty cheep. I have to quit smoking. I had a stroke and was in the hospital for 3 days. Im only 30 and dont want to have another one. I started out with the menthol highest nicotine and now am only vaping the low. My doctor told me about ecig and said he has a couple patient that use them to quit. Im looking for ejuice that has a lower nicontine to work my way down. Where do u guys order your ejuice from.

Sorry to hear that. I hope your health can recover quickly!

I order my juice from Highbrow Vapor (E Cig Juice @ *_Highbrow Vapor_* - E Liquid Store, Shop our Store for Ecig Products.) and OKC Vapes (OKC Vapes - Oklahoma's Premier Supplier of Electronic Cigarettes, E-Liquid, and Accessories!).

My Blu works great for me. I have the premium (non 100). The batteries last about 2 hours, but with the PCC I have another ready to go all the time. I just ordered a KGO for home use, but the Blu will be what goes with me to work and in the car. Yeah, there are a lot of things that could make the Blu better, but it works for many people and has gotten many people into the world of vaping and off analogs.
