got my first order, yay/ hiccups

so I got my first order a few hours ago and initially have been suuuuuuuuper impressed!!!!! the first bottle I opened was death by chocolate and even just the smell of it, I knew it would taste fantastic. filled my perfectly clean protank mini about halfway full and screwed on the 2.5 atty....think I had my battery set to somewhere between 3.2 and 4.0 and took a small hit.....heaven!!!!!!!
loooooooove that for a chocolate the liquid is clear unlike every other chocolate I've ordered. However I did notice a little dark fleck floating around. probably from the tank not being as clean as I thought I guess?

as i puffed away I realized I really didnt like my battery set so low. so I turned it up to 4.0 to get a better hit, and sadly lost flavor. like all flavor. much easier to draw though.

then something really kinda weird happened.

had a drs appt so I wasnt vaping for about an hour. came back to my e cig (didnt look at battery setting) and first puff had such a harsh throat hit It was like being punched in the back of the throat. or sandpaper. uhg! and then all hits after that have been fine, in terms of TH anyway, but I cant taste that wonderful chocolate at all, on any setting,=(. prolly just wicked vapors tounge but booooooo nonetheless.

aaaaaanyway, sorry for such a detailed account of my first three hours with VV but curious, once again, if anyone can shed some light on the issues im having fiding a good place to set my battery with a 2.5 atty to still get flavor and a decently strong hit. maybe I should find another part of the forums to ask too?

LOL, I thought you were going to say you got the hiccups from vaping. Which, by the way, can happen if you get too much nicotine. Back when I tried Nicorette gum, I got the hiccups all the time. I was chain vaping yesterday afternoon and got the hiccups for the first time in a looooong time.

I use 2.2 heads on my evods, and my sweet spot is between 3.5 - 3.9v. What is strange is that the taste differs battery to battery. When I use my iTaste VV, I have to go lower to 3.3. On a Spinner, juuuust below 3.8 gives me the best taste. Out of all my batteries, I get the best taste from my Ego-V V-2 Mega, set at 3.5 - 3.9 depending on which flavor I'm using. (We are now carrying the V-3 Mega...guess who's getting one? )

With your 2.5, just keep adjusting it, even in tiny increments...and I think you might want to try 1.8 or 2.2s. Hang in there and keep experimenting!

lol, thanks kitty! so we figured out that weird harsh hit was probably a dry hit, and out of frustration I did get a clean, new, 1.8 atty from my boyfriend this morning. popped it in and am having a much easier time with setting the battery at a lower voltage and getting a stronger hit. so that solves that part of the problem! just hope it doesn't end up being too harsh for my throat. doesnt seem so so far, but my throat still hurts badly enuf that its kindof numb =(. so ill have to get more 1.8s fast.
