My eGo kits arrived last night. I have the newer type with the atomizer and cover as one piece. Everything was primed and ready to go. No blowing, cleaning or anything. It took about 10 hits or so to get the hang of it. Low-volume draw for 3 seconds, I mean barely suck in any until you let go of the button. Then inhale and holy moly...it'll give your lungs a hit. Still getting used to it but can tell right now I have no use for analogs.

Good: easy to assemble, high quality build, two complete cigs, atomizers pre-primed, satisfying.
Bad: Instructions inside box were for the previous two-piece atomizer version...a little confusing
Bottom Line: I made the right decision.
Comments: My wife thought it was too big, like smoking a cigar. So, I ordered her a Joye 510.

I don't know if it's proper to mention our suppliers, so I'll just say Mike Sutcliffe made this transition easy for me. He responded by email and walked me through over the phone, answering some naive questions.

I am a happy man!

Nice!

Some tips -

LR (low resistance) attys and cartos are only for fat battery models like Ego (can damage slim batteries)
Ego's charger is for Ego only (can damage slim batteries)

NoSmokeVA.com has a nice PCC for standard 510 batteries

If your wife wants longer battery life, try the manual 510 mega xl batteries - they make the 510 128mm long with a standard cartomizer, longer with atty+cart but the charge lasts 60% longer. Only PCC available for them is the metal type (and VaporKings.com sells the metal mega PCC with an adapter for charging the short 510 batteries)

I use my 510 with Boge cartos (standard resistance). I recommend manual batteries when using cartos and of course when dripping. Cartos are actually more likely than dripping to drip a bit of liquid on the end of the battery occasionally. 510 manual batteries are totally sealed there, and autos have a hole and are totally dependent on the drag sensor in that hole.

I won a 510 from Rock Mountain and I'm so excited to get it. I want to get something small to carry around and I think I'll order a PCC.
