It just bugs me when people complaint about something on a clone product, and everyone thinks that the same fault applies to the genuine article. I have 4 authentic nemesis(es) on me right now (selling 2 if anyone is interested...hint, hint), and I do not, and have never had the "crunchiness" issue with the button that I hear people complain about. It's not a design flaw inherent in the Nemesis, it's that your Chinese clone manufacturer does not have the same tight tolerances that atmomixani has.

^^^^Yep, I agree totally.

Yeah I didn't mean to get into the clone vs real debate either. Yeah I buy clones too. Yeah, it's because I wold go broke if I had all legit stuff. But yeah, there really are some quality improvements in the real nemmy...but that's another story. To cut to the chase. Pay $5 bucks for the magnets I linked, and your problems are solved. I bought the same ones from the same seller and I have four of them, and can say with absolute certainty that this is probably what you are looking for. (And yeah they are better than the actual real magnets you can buy from a legit dealer like Vaperev.)

1) some clones and SOME originals have crunchy buttons. There are threads on both. There are a few fixes available.
2) 2 Sets of magnets will NOT work properly. Not enough clearance for the button movement.
3) Nemesis with magnets (Original or Clone can stand <unlocked> with the heaviest toppers full and not fire.

Several things come into play.
How strong are the magnets?
How many are being used?
How far apart are the magnets?(switch adjustments)

I have 6 and have done magnets in all plus my sons Nemesis. All stand without firing with full Kayfuns or Ithakas.

These work, but require 3 magnets to be used. 2 stacked and 1 flipped.
$2.40 Switch Magnets for Nemesis Mod (10-Pack) 10-pack - 13mm*9mm*1.0mm(OD*ID*Thickness) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

These work but should have a 1mm thick Nylon washer under the lower magnet to bring it closer to the top magnet.

^^sorry to disagree but 2 sets of 1mm magnets WILL work. The ones I linked to are 2mm thick each. I tried the exact same magnets from fasttech that you linked to, but these are not worth it. For less than $3 more (and not having to wait for shipping from Hong Kong) the ebay ones are a whole lot better. Better than the fasttech ones and better than even the manufacturer's ones available from Vaperev (and they are about $12 for a set and are only 1 mm thick, meaning it will bottom fire if set down). The problem with the fasttech ones (and I know from personal experience) is that the outside diameter of them is smaller than bottom button, and the opening in the middle is often times too small to fit inside the bottom button. (You may have to dremel them out). I forced one in and had to physically break the magnet in two in order to remove it.

The ones on Ebay are the same diameter and same middle opening size of the factory magnets. But they are 2mm thick, and are stronger magnets. These will not accidentally fire.

Photo comparison. Brass nemesis (and I promise it has a battery in there) with Kayfun. I purposely screwed the switch out so you could see the magnets in place. Has no problem standing up when using the Ebay magnets which are 2mm thick each. You can either use these 2mm magnets or use 2 1mm magnets. There is enough space in there to fit. The magnet on the left is from Vaperev and is the factory magnet. It is 1mm thick. When using 1 set, it will not stand up by itself. The magnet to the right is the garbage fasttech magnet. It is alot smaller than the factory one, and with decreased mass it has decreased magnetic strength.

The reason I don't recommend using the fasttech magnets is illustrated in photo below. The bottom magnet is the factory magnet (1mm thick). The magnet wedged on top is the fasttech magnet. The inside opening is not big enough to fit the switch. I suppose you could dremel it out, but I just thought it was a piece of crap anyways because it has very little magnetic strength to it.

I'll simply agree to disagree.
I use 3 different types, The 17mm from FatDaddy, a set from DealExtreme and a set from Fasttech.
ALL - not some but All configurations work in MINE - YMMV

Yes, you can cram 4mm of magnets in there. If everything is adjusted tight the throw is almost gone.
With just 2 magnets, 1mmx17mm my throw is only 1.5mm and the magnets never make contact.

I think Submaniac got caught up in the Bad batch FT had. There were several post on the FT forums with the same issue. Fasttech pulled the remainder and the replacements(at least mine) are a perfect fit. Snug but not binding and no lateral movement.

Oh, I checked the Ebay link. Those magnets are only N35. The reason they seem to work better is the 2mm reduced gap between magnets. The closer they get the stronger the fields are. That is why the 2 magnets work so well in my Nemesis. I have a 1mm nylon washer under one bringing them closer.

FatDaddyVapes new Magnets are over N50. May have to order a set and see how they act, but I'm not looking for a uncomfortably stiff switch.

Bad batch, maybe. I will say this. I put them on my nemesis, my favorite nemesis, the limited edition nemesis legion that I had to wait to sign up for, wait to be made, and wait to be shipped from Greece. I really really wanted to try it out and have it set up with magnets. The magnets were a bit snug, but I managed to get them on. I later wanted to clean it, and the firing button. Couldn't get them off. Had to break them off. That left a real bad taste in my mouth for fasttech magnets, that I will never touch them again, even if they fixed the problem.

Thank you, might you know where I can get better magnets? The springs that came in it are working for now, the button is a bit notchy, even after I used a lubricant, but I can work that out. I have to say, it fires a lot stronger than my old Sigelei 24 does, and I'm pretty happy about that. That the magnets they sent with it are so much weaker than the springs I feel is a bit sub-par. On the whole it's a great looking mech, it just needs a little work.

Fatdaddyvapes has better Magnets for the Nemesis, supposedly tried and true. :)

Try adding more magnets so you have 3-4 total. More magnets on the way from fasttech for me because I read this works. I, too, would like to set this thing down without having to screw the locking ring down every time (can't set it down horizontally because my gennies will leak). Plus the flimsy locking ring irritates me whenever I have to fiddle with it - just feels so cheap, it's the only part of the Nemesis I don't like.

FWIW, I ordered my hcigar Nemi clone from Vape Royalty with 2 magnets, and it will stand without firing with a full Kayfun Lite + kick 2 with just 2 magnets, however I have just added a 3rd (2 on the bottom) for extra security and that button is tight! No way it will fire when setting it down.

I bought 3 HCigar Nemesis clones from them but only ordered the first one (copper) with the magnets. I had the same problem with it firing when set down. I then picked up the contacts and magnets from FatDaddyVapes for it which worked great. I did the same for the other two and didn't buy their magnet upgrade.
