got my new janty kissbox today

hi everyone got my kissbox classic today and im very impressed with it the manual switch puts out loads of vapor.the automatic switch seams to only let you pull for about 2 seconds before the L.E.D goes out with only a little vapour is this normal?

Did you charge the battery for the full 16 hours?
If you got it today, you need to charge it overnight.....

hi one of the batterys has been on charge for 12 hours tryed the 20min use and nothing from led on auto switch or manual think its a dead battery?second one is on charge now

sounds like its a dud battery...and probably a dud auto switch also...

email Janty and ask them to send you replacements ASAP...

I have four complete Janty units and I always charged up for 16 hours then use the 20 minutes then recharge for another four to five hours like it says in the instructions. I have always followed these properly and I advise people to do so in case you have to contact Janty and they will probably ask you the same question
You might have a dead battery it does happen . Or you have a faulty auto switch I have had one of these to go down on me where the LED is not on for long
but you could have both faulty with the way you are explaining this.


So wait and try the next battery to see if that will give you more answers
Also if you had the USB cable with yours the battery with this unit needs to be charged also before you start using it

just check the battery youre charging now works after the charge time before emailing...

just in case youre unlucky enough have another dud-which is unlikely,but better to be sure...and to make sure your charger is working.

i will try the other battery tomorrow ans see what happens hope this one will be ok seems strange that they would both light up the l.e.d before charging and one to die when nearly full charged. thanks for the help both of you

looking at the charger the pin in the middle looks very loose and off to one side could this have killed the first battery?

The first two units we ever bought had faulty parts two faulty batteries, one manual switch and one auto switch which can be soul destroying when you've paid good money plus you are excited about trying. But that's Chinese quality control for you.

But please don't worry Janty will put your problem right and send you replacement parts if needed or give you instructions on what the problem could be. But don't expect it to be delivered quickly as they seem to have changed the way they ship because our last parcel came through the Royal mail and we all know how long these can take. Delivering goods from overseas to the UK involving the Royal mail is the worst thing any company could do as this will make delivery times even longer than before.


But I do hope in your case they go to the expense and will employ a good courier service like it used to be to help you out quickly.

The Smokester tends to check most of his products are working before they leave him anyway which makes a difference as he well knows where they've been made and wants to keep his customers happy. Which is why he is well known for having a great reputation.

I can't use automatic switches normally on my Kissbox. I find that they cut off quickly and I have to sort of draw and pause at the same time. That gives good vapour.

Check your batteries with a manual switch because they are probably ok, it's just that the automatic switch needs a certain technique.

I can confirm that I also experience the same issue. After speaking with Janty, this appears to be normal. To get the best experience using automatic, you must take a prime puff or two before you take the inhaling puff. Because of this I only use the manual switch. I have no idea why it's a 2 second cut off...bit bizarre.

hi everyone my second battery is now charged and is fine. only one is dead have contacted janty eu 3 times today with no reply at all. and yeah the auto switch still cuts out after 2 secounds so must be normal

I would still ask to see if this is normal or send this switch back as mine tends to be on longer than two seconds as I previously sent back a auto switch performing the same and they replaced this and the replacement works far better than two seconds
