Got my PCC

Little bit dissapointed with this - but only because I obviously haven't understood it properly - doh!
It works like a dream for my 510 but I was stupid enough to think that this was a carry case for the one that you're using, as well as keeping one on charge and space for an atty and carts.

Does such a thing exist?
I ended up buying a packet of really long thin cigarettes (binned them all - not my usual brand; just wanted the box lol !), covered it in lots of celotape to stregthen it and popped my 3 e-cigs plus 2 carts in it. I used the foam that comes with some of the liq (red devil?) and superglued bits to the box so that my cigs don't rattle about and fit snug in their own little foam slot the box.

Phew...what an afternoon I've had- hardly did any work today at all!!!

Ive seen a few posts in the mod section - one in particular where someone used womens elastic hair scrunchies (for lack of a better word) that held a couple full 510's on the outside of the PCC - some sort of elastic I guess would work too - just a thought - but I do agree it is a poor design when another cm or two would have allowed for a couple

That is the only negative about the PCC. Can't hold an assembled ecig. I can't believe or understand why that was left out of the design.
The battery takes up the bottom half of the PCC, so there's not enough height.

I do wish the PCC were wider than the battery, though - then it could hold one or two assembled e-cigs.

On my 510 PCC I looked down into one of the holes and saw a plastic piece in there. I thought one of the cartridge caps had fallen in, so I pulled it out with a pair of tweezers. It wasn't a cart cap, but just a piece of plastic meant to make sure that hole wasn't so deep that a cart or atty fell down too far. But with the plastic removed, that hole can fit a cart attached to an atomizer. It's a little better, but not much.

I've only been at this for a few days, so obviously I have quite a bit to learn! But I have made a few observations:

I rummaged though my "junk drawer" and found a pen-style pocket clip that fits perfectly over the body of my 510. I have it just below the flats on my whistle-tip, and now I can just clip the 510 into my shirt pocket when I'm on the go. Gravity and vibration keep the atty primed, so it is always ready for a good vape.

I'll be looking for a thin-walled plastic tube that I can bond/glue to the outside of my PCC. That way I can just slip the 510 into the tube when the PCC is in my shirt pocket. I'll cap the bottom end of the tube and probably put some foam down in there to cushion the LED end.. and I'll make sure the ID of the tube is largen enough to NOT press the manual button.

That being said.. and as an engineer.. I'm surprised by the design of modern e-cigs. I think it makes perfect sense to have semi-exposed charging contacts at the LED end of the battery. That way, when I slide my 510 down into the tube (or any similar device.. desk stand, etc..) it could be making contact with the charging device. That could dramatically reduce the number of battery swaps. Perhaps even eliminate the need altogether.
