Hey guys!

I got my stingray clone today as well as my kraken clone!

Gotta say in pretty impressed with the stingray, compared it with a real stingray and it looks really good!

Im just a little disappointed with the kraken, i expected a little more vapor from it, works great tho at ~ 1.33 ohms.

Any thoughts?

Low vapor on a Kracken? Vapor has never been an issue with mine, but taste was a huge issue until recently. Finally managed to get a good coil on it. Ohms at about .9. Microcoil with cotton wick. Loving it right now, and it seems to be the perfect size for my precious... I mean, my Provari.

What build r you using? Id love to try it!

Gotta be something off with your build or e liquid maybe? The Kraken and "little vapor" seem like an oxymoron ... Anyhoo, I have this set up as well, and its a very nice pairing, so its worth it to work on your Kraken build.

Yeah idk maybe its just me being picky or my build is not very good fr it

I just wrapped my coil around a paperclip about 9 or 10 times. 28 gauge kanthal. You take a paperclip and bend down the wire at a 90 degree angle from the rest of it. Like the picture below.

IMG_9369.jpg

Loop one end of the kanthal where the paperclip loop. Then wrap your coil around the part of the paperclip you bent down. You can get it pretty tight this way. Makes a nice, even, coil. Remove the coil and hold it together with tweezers and use a blow torch or whatever source of fire you've got to set the coils and burn away any machine oil or contaminates. Set the coil in vertically, and dry burn without the wick. You can use tweezers while you're dry burning as well to squeeze the wraps together so that they're touching, but not overlapping. As you are dry burning, make sure that the coil is glowing from the middle, outward. Leave the piece of cotton thicker on the top and thin on the bottom to make it easier to thread. Pull the cotton through the coil and the deck of the Kracken until the thick part is snug in the coil. Trim the top of the cotton. Prime, fill the tank, and vape!

Congrats on the combo, I have the same one and love it. I built a 1.1-ohm single coil with 28 gauge wire, plenty of vapor production. The Kraken is an excellent tank. Try another build or two, when you find one you like you'll love the Kraken. I have four of them and keep one with me at all times.

Wow yeah might as well try different ones. As soon as i get the kanthals i can start building :) thanks mate
