Nicoticket-As you know I wasn't crazy about CB or CLS but the Betelgeuse and Gravity are fantastic! These two will stay in my rotation for sure. Love the CS at Nicoticket and love that they are from my home state.

AIV-Bit of Everything sampler if what I got. So far I like Zombie Apocalypse and Cupcake City. Will try some more tomorrow probably.

Also got 7 more from Tasty Vapor but won't get around to them either til tomorrow.

Received the dripper and the really nice drip tip I ordered.

Reread The Ocelot's blog entry on dripping just to make sure I did it correctly.

All I can say is I am not sure it is for me.

Maybe I need a different type?

I couldn't really take more than a 3 second draw on it or it made the crackling sound and got hot.

Also got what I can only assume was a "dry hit."

It made me feel sick cuz it tasted sooo bad so I won't be trying anything else til tomorrow and that will be in the Triton tanks only.

Had to vape some Malibu to get that nasty taste out of my mouth.

Am I doing something wrong? Did I get the wrong thing for me? Are my expectations just too high?

I don't know but may just give it away to someone who might enjoy it.

Heck, the drip tip cost more than the dripper and it is really a nice one.

Please help!

Cindy

So Cal
I tried the whole AIV sampler in one of those little 510 Joyetech attys. It was challenging - they only hold a couple of drops, and I found it really easy to burn them. I ended up just going through all the flavors in my 3 attys - layering them. As a result I have no idea what they are really like.....LOL But like you I decided dripping in these was a pita. I'm going back to mini tanks!

I'm ordering a bunch of mini tanks too. So glad I waited until today to order instead of last night. Now I can save 20%. I also have me some 3ml empty bottles coming for mixing Almond joy (Malibu & Belgium) and York Peppermint Pattys (Kringle's Curse & Belgium) and a few other recipes I've seen on here. LOL I need a second job and more money for everything I want........

Gotta try that almond joy mix!

Good idea to get empty bottles Evieluv.

I missed that 20%!!!

Oh well, maybe I'll catch the next sale.

Cindy

The 20% is just on mini tanks and started today. Should go for a little bit.

I may have to get some mini tanks and of course more Halo juice!

Happy New Years! :toast:

wait until you try the Cherry Blossom and Creamsicle from AiV...

I can't wait!

Already washed some tanks out for tomorrow.

Still feel too sick to try anything else tonight.

Happy New Year to you too!

No Champagne for me tomorrow night unless I want to end up in the ER!

It just isn't fair!

Dripping has a bit of a learning curve. I use an HH357 for a liquid I really like, but which wicks so poorly- it has NET in it- in every type of tank I have tried, I need to drip it to really enjoy. The flavor is great, but takes time to develop the correct way to drip. It is a fine line between flooding and dry hits, which are horrible.

If you're hearing crackling and it overheats in 3 seconds, the voltage is too high and you're frying your juice. If you have a way to measure the resistance of that atty and have a variable voltage (VV) battery, take the resistance value, add 2 and set the voltage. E.g., 2.0Ω + 2 = set the batt to 4v. If you have no way to measure resistance, but have a VV batt and ordered 1.8Ω-2.0Ω, set the batt to 3.8v. If you don't have a VV batt and ordered a 1.8Ω or 2.0Ω atty, don't run the atty on a fully charged batt because it will put out about 4.2v which is too high. Vape on the batt with something else attached for at least 30 minutes before putting the atty on and the voltage should drop to somewhere between 3.7-3.9v to better match the resistance of your atty.

It's Wheezal's recipe so use extreme caution!!! But he said 1 part Malibu to 4 part Belgian Cocoa. But experiment to your tastes.

Lol! Couldn't wait and tried a 50/50. Interestingly good, but too much pineapple. I'm now on a 4:1 (BC:Malibu) and it's just about there! Maybe just a little more BC. This is really good! :thumb:

I usually do more malibu and less belgian, but to each their own...

And I love that fact!

You can tailor it to whatever suits your taste.

TV has a "make your own flavor" but I am always afraid I will make something really screwed up.

They also have a cupcake flavor where you can add up to three flavors to make your own cupcake flavor.

I just got another one today and it is "Pecan, caramel cupcake."

It is really good and after a weeks steep will be even better.

I feel safe with this option because the cupcake flavor is so good, I probably can't mess it up too much.

Oh I hear you - I did that today and realized how stupid it was that I stalked first the USPS site and then the mailman only to stuff the bottles in a dark cupboard:oops:

Why oh why do we grow impatient, stalk the mailman and pray our order will arrive ASAP!!!!! Then open shake and put it away on a shelf for a week. It's like hurry hurry then wait...........

Ok... I dripped it, G6 Minitanked it and I just loaded it into a Triton tank. I officially love Wheezal's recipe ("1 part Malibu to 4 part Belgian Cocoa"). I think I'll label this tank, "Wheezal's Joy". :D
