@spacekitty it's really bad manners to moderate a sub forum you aren't a moderator of :p
besides, bravesfans was just giving valuable feedback to halo about what flavours they should consider offering
Companies spend thousands of dollars for this sort of information.

I am just trying to defend a very generous supplier, since it seems like some of you new people don't have much respect for the forum!!! :D

Maybe they should have called the thread something else, or even posted it somewhere else, because the 'vapemail' they were referring to in the title and the OP sure wasn't Halo's juice...

Just my :2c:

I apologize if I did something wrong but I am certainly not the first to do this here.

Sorry to everyone if I caused a problem.

Since I have been here, we have basically shared with each other whatever we wanted to so I really didn't know that was wrong.

Thanks Chesty, I am a lady so I won't say what I REALLY think but I appreciate your comment.

Such a gentleman you are.

Don't worry about it Cindy. Some people have issues, and then some people have a whole subscription...ya know what I mean? We are all adults here and don't need to be spoken to like we are children. The 'generous supplier' can only BE generous to those of us that spend our money for their products, they need 'no defending'. Some people just need to step off and stop hiding behind their keyboards. You're fine Cindy. Don't worry about it.

...and another thing. Cinder has said we can talk about other products and such, just don't put up any links to other companies.

Thank You CafeDigitalDiva, I promise I won't do that.

I appreciate your post explaining the situation because I wasn't sure what was going on, I get it now.

If you ever see me do or say anything that isn't appropriate here, please let me know.

Please know anything I do wrong is not intentional in any way.

Thanks!!

We understand Cindy. We all like/love our Halo products, but the last time I looked, it was still a free country. :)

If you're hearing crackling and it overheats in 3 seconds, the voltage is too high and you're frying your juice. If you have a way to measure the resistance of that atty and have a variable voltage (VV) battery, take the resistance value, add 2 and set the voltage. E.g., 2.0Ω + 2 = set the batt to 4v. If you have no way to measure resistance, but have a VV batt and ordered 1.8Ω-2.0Ω, set the batt to 3.8v. If you don't have a VV batt and ordered a 1.8Ω or 2.0Ω atty, don't run the atty on a fully charged batt because it will put out about 4.2v which is too high. Vape on the batt with something else attached for at least 30 minutes before putting the atty on and the voltage should drop to somewhere between 3.7-3.9v to better match the resistance of your atty.

Thanks for all your help.

Believe it or not I tried it again this morning and even though I flooded it a couple of times, it worked like a charm.

I remember someone saying something about a "break in" period.

Maybe that is what happened?

Maybe my battery has less of a charge today?

Maybe my brain kicked into gear today?

I don't know but it works and I really like it for tasting juice.

Thanks Seapup for recommending what to get and how to use it.

You too TCO76, that blog was a big help.

Thanks also chesty, BigBen, DaveOno, Evieluv, CafeDigitalDiva (If I forgot someone, so sorry!)

In fact, I think I will order a few more.

At that price I really can't go wrong.

Thanks my friends for helping me anytime I need it.

Oh, and I have to tell you that this morning I read thru DaveOno's contest last night.

I hate it that I missed all the fun, it was hysterical!

Cindy you are most welcome. I love to come here and get answers to questions I may have, get support from people (friends) that are going through the same as me or understand what I'm going through during my vaping journey. Some issues we have are just learning to use and clean our new Halo tanks and batteries. Juice recipes are always welcome.

I may not have 20,000 posts, I don't refer to anyone as "some of you new people" snubbing my nose down at them, I don't accuse anyone of being disrespectful in a forum, I don't pop into the Halo forum to give my critical 2 cents then go back out to other forums where I've bought their equipment and sing their praises. I don't go into other forums and put people down and pick on peoples friends. I've never been a person who would defend myself because even if I don't agree you are entitled to your opinion of me but I will defend my friends, I think I know them better than you. I'm not a modder but I can understand some people just love to tinker, I'm not one of them, I am loyal to Halo, I love both the G6, Triton, VV batteries, mini tanks, and Trition tanks even the cartomizers they all have a place depending on what people are looking for and need. I love Halo juices but not all are my flavor preference. But Halo juices are like staples in your kitchen they are just must haves.

Have I posted outside of Halo, yes, I need other flavors I can't get from Halo like fruit. But I'm looking for vendors who offer high quality juice like Halo, who else would understand that but my fellow Halons. I also look for glass tanks to use on my Triton because some juices (Not Halo) can be tank crackers. And because Halo juice won't harm your tanks they don't offer glass tanks. I've also posted answering questions in the new member forum singing the praises of Halo juice and gear. I've recommended the G6 and the Triton depending on what a person needs.

And yes some of these threads do tend to go off topic but that is what happens when friends get together and talk. Sometimes we need a good laugh, sometimes we need a shoulder, sometimes we need a hug, sometimes we need to escape our real life, sometimes we need information and help. Halo forums are unique we are family and welcome everyone new and advanced and I respect everyone's opinion even if I don't agree with it. I get something here I can't get in any other forum. I have a real support system here with real friends and I have a solid foundation with Halo gear & juices. Even if I turned to modding (which I don't see happening), I would still recommend Halo for everyone who is new to vaping. It is hands down the absolute best place for anyone new to vaping to start and succeed in smoking cession.

There is something magical here going on at Halo. Just look at the threads created, most are personal with friends talking, some are contests, some are complaining that snailmail isn't getting them their Halo stuff quick enough, stalking the mailman, different Halo flavors and peoples opinion on them or recipes for them, help on how to clean or maintain their Halo gear or questions asking recommendations on which Halo gear or juice to buy.

At this moment not one thread on the first page contains complaints against Halo or Halo gear or Halo juice. Which really should tell you something about the quality standards Halo offers. Like I said Halo forum is very unique.

Very well said Evie, and I totally agree. Anybody that comes to the Halo sub-forum regularly can sense that there is something 'special' going on here that is non existent in other forums. We share info, and genuinely care about each other. Quitting smoking is hard, and if you have a strong support base, chances are, you can make it. Just want all my Halons to know how much I appreciate you all.

Evieluv and CafeDigitalDiva, I couldn't have said it any better.

This is truly a special place with really fantastic people.

Basically I post here and in the General e-liquid forum.

You don't get the same vibe you get here in the other forums.

Guess that's why I ask my questions here because there is a trust factor between all of us I don't have anywhere else.

It has the feel of emailing or texting your best friends for advice.

Really you can't beat that.

Thanks to everyone for making this forum what it is.

I genuinely care about each and every one of you.

Cindy

Right back at ya Bravesfan! My husband noticed that when he came into the 'Happy New Year's Eve' thread that Evie set up last night. He said we seemed more like old friends than just people on a forum.

LMBO it's because we are a judgement free prayer group with a bunch of good girls.......

with a twisted sense of humor.
